A no-frills pit stop for the college crowd delivers speedy Japanese favorites..
In Short
Patrons order from the back-lit pictoral menu displaying the usual suspects in neon glory: udon soup, tempura, sushi and katsu--although more hard-to-find items like thick Japanese curry are also available. The lunch crowd of students and assorted UW faculty sit at the red-topped tables, or take in the view of the Ave from the counter along the window. Water, utensils and napkins are available from the bussing station near the register.

Food for the soul.
This place is great if you are hungry and short of time. You wouldn't come here for the ambience but that's not what this place is about. The food is tasty and wholesome and portions large - you won't leave feeling hungry!

Great food....and cheap.
This is your basic local Japanes spot.....great value though. You pretty much get enough for 2 meals for like $7. I recommend the Yakisoba and Teriyaki combo......
