Persian restaurant on the Ave offers traditional dishes like Fesenjan, chicken with pomegranate sauce.
Seattle's best Persian food is just down the street!
by julieetta
The food from the Caspian Grill Persian Cuisine is beautifully conceived, elegantly presented, and as varied as the colors outside a window pane in spring. The chemistry of Persian food is not so foreign to me and just because the restaurant is not complete fine dining does not alter the dish placed in front of me, but certainly it reinterprets the fundamentals of cooking. The food is anything but simple. It is worldly, ancient, historically organic and honors the art of Persian Cuisine in its wonderful taste which is flavored like Grandmas home cooking during the holidays. When the gloves come off and every herb and spice is specifically placed to perfection so that every bite has exactly what the chef intended you taste, a little bite of Persia.
- Pros: Best Beef & Lamb Kabobs in Seattle
- Cons: Street Parking
Caspian is KICKIN!
by RebeccaRaks
I have been dining at Caspian Persian Grill for years. Every Caspian Experience gets better and better, which is uncommon in any establishment. The staff is considerate, accommodating and friendly. The food (Platter #3 is a personal favorite) melts in your mouth and is truly authentic Persian Cuisine. To top the evening off, they provide their clients with Professional Belly Dance shows. I was just ad Caspian a few nights ago and was welcomed by a talented Belly Dancer. She involved the audience in her show, brought her strong talent to the Caspian Stage and added to the venue’s Flavor!
Caspian is KICKIN…keep up the stellar job!
- Pros: Customer Service, Food, Professional Belly Dancers, VIBE
- Cons: Parking
The only good Persian restaurant in Seattle
by Sheilometer
I love this place. The service is friendly, and the food is great. I grew up with my grandmother's Persian food and this restaurant takes me back to being seven years old. The khoobideh kabob is spiced just right, the rice is buttery and fluffy, the geimeh has the right amount of lemon and the portions are truly Persian. You will never leave hungry. The only criticism I would have is that the atmosphere feels a little cold. A bit more adornment to the walls would be nice. Even if you are a vegetarian, there is good foor for you. Try the Shirin Polo (sweet rice) or the geimeh badamjoon (eggplant stew) and you won't be disappointed. Truly. I've eaten here for years and never been disappointed once.
- Pros: Great food, belly dancing on some weekends, great service
- Cons: ambiance, a little pricey
