best teriyaki ever!!!!.
i'v been going to this place since 2001 and the food s always well made!! they have really good teriyaki sauce that everyone would like and has humungous portions, and awesome price!!
i went there last week and they have been changing things such as table, chair, menu..
looks alot better than before.. i think nasai s the best teriyaki!!
There are plenty of better teriyaki places in Seattle.
These people who have been eating there for 7+ years must not have been trying teriyaki at newer places, because the teriyaki here is only subpar. Sauce is weak, chicken occasionally overcooked and they skimp to an incredible degree on their dressing on their salads (one time I didn't even get dressing).
The environment is run-down, signs outdated and seating lacking. There may have been a time when this was good, but as it stands now, I would not recommend this place when there are so many better teriyaki places in the area. I'd suggest you try those out first.
Pigeon anyone?. I went to this place the other night with my friend because it was rated well on here. well, i ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki with gyoza and she got the plain chicken teriyaki. I think it was the worst teriyaki i had ever had, and i eat a lot of teriyaki. Mine did not look or taste anything like chicken, my rice was undercooked, and my gyozas were just grease. Let alone salad filled 75% of my plate and i was given a super tiny portion of everything else. Needless to say, it was not worth the 8 dollars for my plate filled with salad. My friend was a little better off. she got huge portions and hers looked more like chicken, but it still didnt taste all too much like chicken.
Editorial Review. A locally acclaimed teriyaki house popular with the UW crowd; specializes in flame-grilled chicken teriyaki with a sweet, tangy sauce.
Best Teriyaki in Town. I started going to Nasai 8 years ago as a student at the UW. Today, its the only place in Seattle I'll go for Teriyaki chicken. The chicken is always a bit charbroiled, the sauce isn't too sweet, and they have the best salad dressing of all the teriyaki joints. Best of all, the prices haven't gone up and the portions are just as big as 8 years ago . . . enough for 2 meals!
meet, greet, and eat!. I've been going there for 7 years now. Their special has not changed prices and it's the best flame grilled teriyaki chicken ever with crispy gyoza and a side salad with a dressing that's both light and tasty. Service is quick and people are nice. And they're not skimpy with the portions.
teriyaki secret. Very tasty beef teriyaki. Gets really busy during lunch but worth the wait.
