In Short – With a catalog of more than 70,000 titles there is, quite literally, something for everyone at this famous video store, from the latest blockbusters to obscure experimental flicks and everything in between. The main floor contains new releases, foreign films and movies organized by director; rooms upstairs have specific niche categories like gangster films and anime. Don't know where to start? The knowledgeable staff is always happy to point customers in the right direction.
Very Disappointed.....

I had rented three dvd's from Scarecrow one afternoon a
week ago. I had return these dvd's at exactly 8:10pm....
10 mins. late and they charged me a full day's worth
of late fees....I told them that I was stucked in traffic and
tried my best to get to the store before the due time. It was like they didn't want to hear it. "We have a policy sir and if we break our policy for you then we have to do it for everyone". I'm sorry this was an accident and they
could care less. All they cared about was the money.
So...you know what....They have lost me as a customer
and now I will be conducting my rental business at another store, which by the way...treats me with respect.
These people at Scarecrow....Have a horrible attitute.
It's like your wrong and they are right. I've told my friends
and couple of family members about this incident and they have already stop renting there. Mainly....for other reasons. But, their reasons have to do with the customer service as well. Some of the staff members are really snotty and not very friendly at all. You know if you run a business you need to train your people to be friendly with the customers and to meet the customers half way. It's too bad. Because I was a really good customer and had spent lots of money. Sometimes I was a day or two late and had no problem paying my late fees, but when you're 10 mins late....You see all of their dvd's & Videos are due back between 7:00 to 8:00pm....That's fine, ut when someone is just a few minutes late and has a good explanation. It really makes me mad when they (SCARECROW) doesn't want to understand and won't meet you half way.
- Pros: Great selection and that's about it.....
- Cons: poor customer service.....very poor
One of the best in the country

Scarecrow's got it all, from the newest releases to almost every TV show to foreign films to the most obscure movies in the world. Sometimes the layout can be confusing, as there's a big "director's section" when you walk in and a lot of films are in there so you have to know the director, but the staff is friendly and helpful (not film snobs at all) and are happy to help you find what you're looking for. Also watch out for out-of-print movies: You have to leave a $150 deposit a lot of the time. But other than that, it's simply one of the best stores out there. And if you have a KEXP membership, you get a free rental with every rental!
- Pros: Wide selection, Great service, Fun atmosphere
- Cons: Parking can be a nightmare, Can be confusing
Great video store

Scarecrow is a great video store. It has a huge selection and the rental prices and procedures are pretty reasonable. I bought anime and some other older videos from here. I like the fact that they have new, old, and hard to find videos. I wish I knew about this place sooner.
- Pros: Wide selection, nice staff people, good prices
- Cons: na
