Bad Experience - Will Never Use Again

I had Ernie refinish a previously refinished sink. The quality of work was marginal and was done surprisingly fast. At the same time, it would have been acceptable under the circumstances had the finish not began peeling less than 5 months later. When I called Ernie about it, he was quick to return my call (thinking he had a new job opportunity). But once he learned that I had a problem, that was the last I heard from him. I tried repeatedly to call him and he would not return my calls. In other words, he took the money and ran. Even worse, the sink began backing up almost immediately. I have no idea if there is any direct correlation, and it may simply be a coincidence, but the backup contributed to a flood that caused thousands of dollars in damage. Adding insult to injury, I need to pay someone else to refinish the sink - again. In any event, I will never use him again and under no circumstances would I recommend him to anyone.

Horribly unresponsive and poor quality

I had Ernie come out to fix an area on our bathtub that was damaged after some plumbing repairs. He came out and touched up the area but when it dried it did not match the rest of the bathtub at all. I have called him repeatedly to come back out and fix the work and he won't return my calls. He's probably figuring that he got his money so it's best to just ignore me. Now I'm going to have to spend more money to get it fixed correctly this time.
