Wow, I wasn't expecting this.

To begin, I accidentally went to the UHaul center on 15th Ave first and waited in line 20 minutes before finding out I was in the wrong location!... Now on to the real review

I had such a great experience renting from this location in Ballard. I called before to ask a few questions and the girl who answered the phone spoke clearly and was well informed. And she handled my reservation like a pro, with no bumps or snags. My cargo van I rented was in excellent shape, clean (brand new maybe) and had no mechanical issues. Returning the thing was a breeze as well, and I wasn't overcharged for a thing.

If you don't want to wait in line, rent from this place! Their staff is lovely.

• Pros: Quick service, no line, easy overnight street parking
• Cons: A little out of the way

Horrible Customer Service

Don't come here expecting to be well-informed about what you need to do for your rentals, these people (from regular staff to the management, to the phone center) are inept, rude, and will basically do anything to make your moving experience hell. I went in expecting to have a quick and easy van rental and left knowing that I will never support this company at any of its locations ever again. Look for alternatives before signing up with Screw-Haul!
