disgusting. i went here with my dad tonight because it was right down the street and neither of us had tried it. walking in we stood there at the front podium for about ten minutes before anyone aknowledged we were even there. when we were taken back she asked if we wanted a booth or table and i said booth and she sat us at a table anyway. i ordered the egg flower soup and #2 combo. the soup was digusting and didn't even come with crackers. The egg roll was not good at all either. just tasted like a mini omelete deep fried, there was maybe 2 pieces of lettuce in it. The almond chicken gravey was probably the grossest i've ever had, it tasted microwaved. the pork fried rice tasted old and crunchy. i guess the chicken chow main was ok. it was the only thing i ate. the chairs were odd, and all the other customers were def over 80. The whole time I kept commenting how I wouldn't come back here. I didn't even take my leftovers home.

Great priced lunches. We stopped in at Louie's the other day to try their lunch menu. A friend had just gone and recommended it. The menu has quite a few items and they are all resonably priced. Service was fast and friendly. Food was outstanding. Great atmosphere.

The only negative thing I would say is it is dark on the outside so it doesn't look open. Trust me stop by because they are open from 11am until 12:30am.

Great Happy Hour. A group of my friends came into Louie's to celebrate our buddies birthday. It was to be our first stop of many planned. When we got there we saw the happy hour menu and special drinks of the day. We ended up staying there in the lounge for the entire night. The bartender and waitress were awesome. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. That is not something you find in restaurants and bars any more. The kicker for the evening is they had a psychic doing readings for who ever wanted one. It was a blast. If your looking for a place with a great staff and great food Louie's is the place for you.

Awesome food and staff. I took my family for dinner the other night. It was my sons birthday. I was impressed with the pleasant staff and the size of the restaurant. Our waitress was wonderful. The food was fabulous. At the end of diiner our waitress went out of her way and presented my son with a happy birthday sundae. I happened to find the lounge on my way to the rest room. It looks so inviting. There is a fireplace for those cold days and I saw their happy hour is half price appetizers. It had at least 10 items to chose from. Over all it was a great experience. We will be coming back for that happy hour for sure.

Avoid unless you have had your taste buds removed. This is one of the worst chinese restaurants I have ever been to. The food was completely bland and flavorless, and no insult to the older set, but that's who was being seen there and perhaps they like their dishes that way. The gyozas were the only redeeming feature, and only because of the nicely balanced and spicy sauce provided. The 1970s decor has not been updated since then and the low lighting (probably designed to keep you from seeing the state of the decor) is depressing. There is much better to be had, although not in that area.
