Two guys and a bunch of sea kayaks. What? You need something more than that?. Down to Business The Broze brothers, who founded the company in 1980, take great pride in their individualized approach to each customer. Co founder, Matt Broze, who claims to be the originator of modern paddle float self-rescues, has personally tested more than 550 sea kayaks and has an evaluation of every one of them. They'll even recommend a kayak they don't sell, if it's the right boat for you. Each boat they build is individually tuned on the water.
The Gear The Broze brothers design and sell their own line of Mariner Sea Touring Kayaks. Prices range from $2,395 for the coaster to $2,695 for the Mariner II with sliding seat. They also stock Nimbus and Seda brands. A single Seda sells for $1615 and a double is $2,335.
