There are way better Thai options out there. There are so many Thai restaurants out there, in fact there are more than a half dozen in the lower Queen Anne area alone. We tried this place cuz its known to be the first Thai restaurant in Seattle. We've been to many, many Thai restaurants throughout the Puget Sound area and thought this place was well below average. Spring rolls were not good, what I would expect from Safeway. The Kee Mow was so heavy in grease and Beef Panang was so heavy in coconut cream we couldn't eat it knowing the high caloric intake. Don't get me wrong, they were somewhat tasty, but I don't think one needs to consume 1500-2000+ calories in one meal for it to be good. There are so many better places out there.

Not good for delivery. I really wanted to like this place, as it's close to our apartment...we ordered some pad thai and yellow curry for delivery...the pad thai was just a mish mash of elements and the curry had no flavor. Disappointing. =(

horrible service, excellent food.. we have been going here for years and the food has always been excellent but the poor and downright rude customer service lately has made us go elsewhere. We have ordered to go and the food is excellent, but I would not recommend dining there. So sad.....perhaps if enough people have the same experience something will change.

I've never forget Bahn Thai. Awesome food & service. My family moved to another state. I just have a chance to come back and see some of my friends. Bahn Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant. We enjoyed great food and service. The new decoration was amazing. I loved Panang curry,Pad See Ew noodle and the chef special dish. i tried something new every time i visited and never feel disappointed. We had the great time here. I highly recommend Bahn Thai.

Nothing to rave about. The Thai food here is not so great. For a MUCH better dining experience, do yourself a favor and go just a few blocks to Tup Tim Thai, which is EXCELLENT!

Bad customer service and cold food....worst Thai food restaurant in Seattle. I received a flyer in the mail from Banh Thai so I thought I would give them a try and order in. After placing my order I was told it would take approximately 45 minutes for them to deliver it which seemed reasonable. However in actually it took about an hour and a half for them to deliver me my food. I did have to call them to find out where my food was before receiving it.

Upon receiving my food, I receive a phone call that the driver was lost and needed directions. It turns out they wrote my address down incorrectly, which I did repeat to them twice when placing my order. I understand that people make mistakes, but instead of calling me to apologize for the mistake the restaurant call me back to accuse me for giving them the wrong address. What happen to customer service? Obviously, Banh Thai doesn't follow or care about the rule that the customer is always right. Honestly, who is going to place an order for delivery and give the restaurant the wrong home address to deliver to?

Once I did finally receive my food it was luke warm and it didn't have much flavor. When it comes to Thai restaurants I highly do NOT recommend choosing Banh Thai.

The romantic setting and variety of Thai dishes make this a pre-opera dinner spot.. In Short
Subdued lighting, rose-colored walls and traditional-style Thai paintings impart a romantic mood. Getting a table during the evenings dependent on the schedule at the nearby Opera House, which sends post-performance crowds here. The vegetable and tofu soup with coconut milk complements any of the meat or seafood entrees on the extensive menu, which also includes several vegetarian options. For dessert, there's coconut ice cream, garnished with palm seed and sprinkled with chopped peanuts.

Awesome Service & Food - Will Always Highly Reccomend - Eat there at least once a week - Can't get enough!. This is my all-time favorite Thai food restaurant. They are a family-run business which always provide friendly, honest service and the food is amazing. Try the panang curry w/chicken or the sweet basil w/beef, or anything w/their yummy peanut sauce is always a winner! The flavors of Bahn Thai have me dreaming about when I'll get to taste them again. Maybe I'll just call them up right now - they deliver y'know, #'s on the speed-dial.....

Try them, you won't regret it!

More Mediocre Thai on Queen Anne. Seriously, QA is awash in mediocre Thai food. This place does delivery, but it is so expensive considering the portions. The food is not up to par with the other, better Thai establishments in the neighborhood. Skip this place, skip Thai Heaven and go to Pho Viet Anh for their stir-fry or pho; it is right across the street. Otherwise you will just be paying too much for below-average food.

Great Thai Food, great price. This is one of many fantastic Thai places in Uptown. Fantastic food and service and quite spicy indeed. I would always recommend this place.
