Very Rude. Very disappointed with service here. Our drinks were abruptedly taken away with out the option of finishing them. Staff was extremely rude. I will never return here even though I live just a couple blocks away. I can't believe how poorly I was treated here.

Anything but boring. For the one who wrote the boring review....Dude-jabu's is anything but boring. To compare it to Solo or McMinnemans is crazy. 1) Jabus has Buck hunt, Ms Pacman, Darts, Pool, megatouch, bingo, trivia, a jukebox, 15 microbeers on tap...do I need to go on. The bartenders know a majority of the customers by name. The drinks are stiff, the glasses are ice cold, and the conversation is always good. Solo is a great bar, however it is geared towards the performance crowds. It has art on the wall and a DJ on occasion. For god's sake-Mcminemans is a family restaurant!!! I suggest if you are going to write a review to put a little bit of relevance with it. It is unfortunate that you have been turned off by jabu's. It is a great bar with good bartenders and owners who really care about preserving the neighborhood bar experience. However, if jabus lost business to a customer who would rather hang out with 10 year olds and coloring books at a family restaurant down the street on a Friday night -then so be it. You can find me on the Buckhunt game with a jager and cold micro beer in hand.

Normal, friendly, tolerant people, tasty food, good service. I don't make it to Seattle often, but when I do, I stop by this hip, cozy venue. There are two separate sections, a cozy lounge with its own minibar, and a larger room with the main bar and a pool table. There is booth seating as well as individual tables. In the larger room there is a very cool and unique metal plated wall with magnets and Jabu's locals' personal touch of decor.

They have a full bar selection and I'd say they are pretty generous with the pour. The food is surprisingly tasty. My friends couldn't stop lauding the fries.

I had a chance to speak with one of the owners who was busily catering to the crowd. She was very friendly and wanted to know if my crew was having a good time. The place just feels like they care.

Bottom line - if a person wants to go out and have a good time with normal people and not pay out the yang for beer and fries, this is the place.

Let's Party!. I just recently visited the area and loved the idea of a neighborhood pub. Great beer, great atmosphere, great location, great service. Love the magnets!!

Tons of Cheap Easy Chicks. This bar is full of chicks!! And I think they are desperate so all you frat boys who can't get lucky with the hot ones at Pesos you should come here because it is like shooting fish in a barrel. I can't tell how lucky I got Bumbershoot weekend. Well I could but you should go there and find out yourself. This bar doesn't take any bs especially from the law. You can pretty much smoke right at the door. The smoking patio is right off the entrance so they are sticking it to the man with the 25 foot rule. Yes Jabu's keep breaking the law. YOU ROCK!!!! I can't wait to tell all my fraternity brothers all about this place. I think this is going to be our new weekend hang out. Pesos you can keep your snobby chicks, at Jabu's the chick bought me a drink. Plus my friend got so wasted I have no idea how he made it home.
