AN ITALIAN HIDDEN TREASURE!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!!. My husband and I have lived here a year and we decided to visit Kerry Park to see a beautiful panoramic view of our city. We were hungry for dinner after ward and asked a gentlemen where a good place to eat in Queen Anne was. He immediatly insisted we try Pasta Bellas. Im a HUGE Olive Garden fan and in my opinion, when I craving Italian, nothing tops Olive Garden. We arrived at Pasta Bellas precisely at 5pm, we were the first customers, they had just opened for the evening. The ambiance was delightful, the music was great and they sat us right next to the warm fireplace. My husband ordered this unque little dish- a pumpkin spice riccotta cheese pasta, it had a little sweet taste to it and was absolutely to DIE for. Really hit the spot. They bring you warm fresh baked bread with garlic. I ordered angel hair marinara pasta with pitted olives- delish!! plus a ceasar salad on the side. The waiter was very attentive, but not too intrusive, we had plenty of privacy. We had a glass of their reisling--lovely! They truly have a WONDERFUL menue and service. ----DEFINITELY topped Olive Garden, and it made for an incredibly romantic evening!! WILL DEFINITELY be back!!!!

Romantic neighborhood italian. My fiance and I love this restaurant. We used to live in Ballard and went to that one. And the Queen Anne one is just as food. The waiters are very friendly and polite. And the food is very good! I like their appetizer bread and dipping sauce. Simple, yet scrumptious. I had a chicken salad and it was really good!

Not Overly Impressed. My boyfriend and I have lived in Queen Anne for years and never tried out Pasta Bella, so when we saw it was in our Entertainment Book we decided to give it a shot. We went on a Sunday evening and when we arrived there was only one other table, which was great because we got to sit at a comfortable booth by the fireplace. The decor at Pasta Bella reminded me of a Mitzel's chain restaurant - kind of like being in my Grandmother's house. We started off with the house Montepulciano, which wasn't bad for the price($12.99 for a half liter). We ordered a mixed green salad but the waiter informed us that they were out of mixed greens so we got spinach instead. The salad was just ok, with tiny bits of nuts and some gorgonzola cheese. The bread was nice and warm and served with a few cloves of roasted garlic, which was nice. The entrees were far from impressive. I ordered a seafood pasta dish of prawns, scallops, and angel hair with greek olives, tomato, and a wine-tomato sauce ($16.95). The main problem with the dish was that the pasta was SO overcooked that the texture was like mush in my mouth. The seafood was ok, but overall the dish lacked flavor. My boyfriend ordered a Sicilian pasta dish with Italian sausage and penne - also slightly bland. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes, but luckily my boyfriend's entree was free(due to the entertainment card) so we weren't overly disappointed. The service was good - our server was very attentive. We had some spumoni for dessert - a nice sized bowl and very tasty. We probably wouldn't go back and pay full price, but I'm fairly critical being Italian myself and regularly spoiled on Mom's cooking.

Delicious food and excellent service. I went to Pasta Bella on a Sunday evening. It was one of those great Seattle nights where only sitting outside will do! Their deck is great and we enjoyed the fresh air and italian music playing on the stereo system. Our waiter was charming and kind and the food was delicious! The portions are generous, flavorful and extremely tasty. We loved how they served roasted garlic with the bread. The one negative point to make was the bread. The bread they serve is pretty flavorless and its poor texture distracts from the roasted garlic. With that great roasted garlic, they should serve a better quality, nice and crusty bread! Apart from that, everything was great and I will be going back!

Great italian food, service, and Very romantic. Went here on a date, it was so great! The restaurant had low light but was brightened up after all the candle were lit, and the fireplace was turned on. The bread they bring you before your meal comes out was great, and it came with a side bowl filled with 5 or 6 roasted garlic cloves. Perfect for your bread and it was delicious. I got the pasta milano, which was very good. and my date got the seafood fettucine. Greattttttt Great! Take your date here!!
