view & uploadworst thai i've ever had. my pahd thai tasted like egg noodles drenched in tabacco sauce. they brought out one of our group's order, then waited nearly twenty minutes to bring mine. the food was not good, not worth the money or the wait. the people were friendly and gracious, but i would never suggest anyone eat there.
40 min to get to go order...
We stoppped by to grab some quick thai take out. waited over 40 min for our food (8:00pm no one else was there) the place was a ghost town.
the food bland, my noodles were stuck together, the curry tasted like just milk. not spicy at all.
total $26 lame.
Not to Shabby. Good Thai food. it is a little pricey but they always have good service. Try one of the Thai beers very good.
mediocre. My husband and I went to Thai Heaven for dinner last night and had a very mediocre experience. The food was barely warm and not very flavorful. The carrots and cabbage in my soup were cut into such large slices that they were difficult to eat. The waiters were polite enough, but they would come by one after the other asking the same questions, such as whether we would like to order drinks before our meal or whether we were all done and ready to go (after our plates were taken away). When they brought my soup, they brought two small bowls, which I appreciated because I was going to share it with my husband; however, halfway through the meal, a waiter came by and took his (still empty) bowl away! We had to ask them to bring it back. Also, my husband's orange juice never showed up... The food tasted okay, but it just wasn't memorable - not really worth the money. The servings could have been a little larger too. I suggest going to Racha Thai just a few blocks away on 1st and Mercer. You will pay two to four bucks more for your entree at Racha but the service will be way better, the portions will be larger, and the food will be just awesome!
Not Good Enough For a Return Visit.
We will not be going back here.
The food was just not up to par, and the portions were a bit small to justify the price. I want very much to like this place--they have been in business for years--but we had phad thai (the yardstick we use to measure a good Thai restaurant) and it was bland and oily, with not alot going on except slippery, bright orange noodles. Not so good.
Also, I hate the up-sell from a restaurant that wants to make a few extra dollars at the expense of making us uncomfortable. And they charge for every refill of soda, which is ridiculous considering it is a slender Collins glass packed with ice. Sorry Thai Heaven.
This is our favorite Thai in the city!!. We've been coming to this restaurant for 15 years. The food and the service are fabulous. Best Tom Kha Gai (Spicy Coconut Chicken Soup) we've ever had and we're picky - it's our favorite dish. We judge all Thai restaurants based on Thai Heaven.
Best Thai In Seattle.
Best tod mun (deep fried fish cakes) in town bar none. This place also turns out outstanding curries, noodle dishes and soups. Be sure to check out the specials board for recommendations by the chef for that particular day. A recent visit found a heavenly dish of salmon curry that was legendary.
You will not find more sincerely friendly and warm service anywhere else in town. You will feel a part of this very sweet family once your meal is over. Service of this quality is simply not seen in today's dining scene. Enjoy!
So So Thai Food in a City with Great Thai.. Let me first say that if I was in many places I would be very happy with this restaurant. However, Seattle has WONDEFUL Thai food, in fact Uptown has a ton of great Thai, so in this city I would haqve to say that this is below average. The food was ok, quite bland and not very spicy. The service was average and the restaurant itself was fine, just too much good food close by to make this worth the visit.
So-so dining experience..
The food was average. Seattle has many better thai places. The Penang curry didnt tasted extra garlicy. The ambience was not special and the interior seems like it hasnt been done up in more than a decade.
Service was good and the servers were attentive.
Heaven in a Bucket!. They don't call it Thai Heaven for nothing. The food is to die for, and you can't beat the great location, free parking, and friendly staff. Sounds like heaven to me!
