I always drink too much when I go here. Boundary Bay.. One of the best mainstays on Queen Anne Avenue. Excellent service, decent food, and great selection of beer. Is it perfect? No, but what is.

It doesn't get any better than this. We seriously think about the reuben for days after having it. It is the best sandwich I have ever had, and I never really was a big fan of reuben's before this one. Make sure to order it with a side ceasar salad, which is just as good as the sandwich. The local beer selection is tops, service is great, location can't be beat.

Yum! Great place to eat :). First of all, great location. Right at the top of Queen Anne hill so it has that chill atmosphere to it.

Second, Hilltop has hands-down the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my entire life. It's on rye bread ( and I usually hate rye bread, but this is how good the sandwich is ) and comes with either tabouili or chips. If you haven't tried this, you must!

Very nice staff every time me and my guy go there and prompt service.

I also really like the pub vibe it has, very cozy.

Thanks, Hilltop!

Top of the Heap. Like the 74th St. Ale House, this place sets the standard for all pubs with its

great selection of brews and food.

Best local hangout for great food and beverage. This has been my favorite pub for over 10 years........and now I live in QA so I am really happy!

The food is way beyond pub fare; everything is VERY well done, albeit somewhat of a bias for spicey; good for some, not all. I personally love the burger.........in fact, it's one of the best I've ever encountered. Start with a large quality beef patty, grill with fresh onions, bell peppers on a fresh roll topped with your favorite cheese.......and order with the gumbo........wow! Can only be topped with a Guiness.

My favorite place to eat and drink. Great beer, great rotating special meals, fun and comfy atmosphere. I love this place. The Guinness is the best Guinness in Seattle (it's on Nitro). :)

The 74th Street Ale House folks did it again, creating a comfortable neighborhood pub noted for good food and great beers.. In Short
This is where people go for a brew and a meal, but the usual burgers and pizza won't do. Expect pub fare like baked goat cheese salad and Hilltop Halibut Cakes with sake-citrus sauce. While the menu here doesn't track 74th Street Ale House's precisely, the two places share many items, including gumbo and a signature chicken sandwich.

User review by poseidonmike. This place (and its sisterhood including the 74th St. Alehouse) has great food and a good selection of beer. The fish tacos are always excellent (with a very zesty sauce) and a filling meal; the soups are handmade and beyond the ordinary. The curried cashews are a wonderful snack - watch you don't fill up on them!

This place is the best. I love eating lunch here. The service is fast. The food consistently good. And it's smoke free and comfy. My favorite menu items are: the chicken sandwich, the chicken quesadillas, the goat cheese salad. Also, check their soup of the day out. The lamb coconut curry soup they served last week was outstanding.

Their best menu item.... Their best menu item used to be a vegetarian sandwich made with huge tender cooked elephant garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and other stuff too delicious to remember.

Unfortunately, it has disappeard from their menu, just like the other 7 wonders of the world.
