In Short
Dim pink lights above the antique bar gently glow against the black walls, upholstered booths and varnished tables. Many variations of martinis, ranging from the elegant to the bizarre, await the see-and-be-seen crowd. Stylish drinkers love the tasty 10-ounce martinis, such as the Jasmine Tini and the Dirty Girl Scout (with hazelnut espresso vodka). For a strong boost, try the manly John Wayne Manhattan: Bulliet Frontier whiskey and Di Sorrano amaretto muddled with oranges.

One of the number one things I miss about Seattle is going to Tini Bigs......Best bartenders, best drinks, best mac and cheese, and best atmosphere. Definitely making the trip back out to Seattle to visit this place! : )

Tini Bigs is a wonderful establishment that will offer you relaxed ambiance, welcoming smiles from the moment you walk in, familiar faces, great food and martinis, and a knowledgeable staff that will go over and beyond to please you. If you're looking for a place to sit back and chill, I personally recommend early Sunday afternoons where you will find an awesome drink you cannot find anywhere else in one hand, a magazine in ther other, and joking with Seattle's best bartender, Ryan. All of this while listening to everything from Frank Sinatra to Marvin Gaye, wooing you to "just one more drink." If you prefer a more lively crowd with more of an up-beat atmosphere, just stick around..it only gets better. This place is very popular...and for a good reason. I truly consider Tini's my home away from home.

I would like to comment on your recent review of Tini Bigs and highlight certain points that you are dearly misinformed. 1.) The bar is over a 100 years old, so if you can't see past some of the unreputable spots, I hate to see what kind of place you live in. 2.) Define Hideous! maybe it was because you were so caught up with the decor, your attitude was affected in some way. It's hard to argue with unreputable people like staff writers of Seattle Times and The Weekly that say the staff at Tini Bigs are warm, friendly and inviting. Maybe it was you, maybe it was an off night. 3.) Except for a few exceptions, Tini Bigs can make any popular drink for the most part, excluding Hypnotic and XRated based cocktails - maybe you should head over to Pioneer Square to get such a "CHEAP" deal. The Liquor that is used at Tini's is considered some of the best in the business, - quite possibly why you don't recognize them, they don't sell them at gas stations or on the bottom shelf at the liquor store. 4.) the Cocktail waitress never said that we can't make regular cocktails, the training and managment would never allow that, maybe you should remember what she actually said. IF you are going to belittle someone, maybe you should give it context - what did you ask for? Jello shots? 5.) It's in the name, Tini Bigs - Big Quality Martinis that use quality liquor, not to mention that they offer smaller sizes for the penny watching crowd. I guess the basis for this comment is that if you are going to analyze the bar to this degree, be specific about what you didn't like and not generalize the situation.. Lot's of people enjoy Tini's and the staff make their living by working at this establishment... if you are going to take food out of their mouths, be a little more conscious.
