Wouldn't recommend. I was very disappointed in the cut and color I received at this salon. Stylist didn't appear to have listened to what I asked for and my hair ended up much shorter, the wrong color and styled differently than I'd asked for. Maybe this was because the stylist had too much to drink the night before. This was not my assumption - he told me so. The price at the end when I paid was also higher than what I'd been quoted up front. I won't be going back.

aesthetician of my dreams. With the quaint location on Queen Anne and the chic, opulent style inside one can't help but find themselves walking in the door to be pampered. Once inside your are greeted by the warm smiles and chatter of a salon. My favorite part is heading upstairs to get a facial or brow wax from Holly. Suddenly the world and all its noise fades away and I'm under the care and skill of this tiny little gem of a gal. Holly is my dream come true! Time and time again she diligently saves me from my self neglect. I have been following her for 4 years and am so excited she is a part of a salon and spa that rises to her glamorous style and virtue.

Posh salon and spa!. What a treat! I just discovered Intermezzo, a hair salon and spa on Queen Anne. This gem of a beauty boutique is in a cute house just down the street from Trader Joe's, real easy to find. I can't say enough about this place, everyone was so friendly and the decor was over the top glamorous! I'll be coming back - and bringing my girlfriends!

I have the best brows in Seattle - thanks to Intermezzo!!. I have horrible brows. HORRIBLE. What's worse, is that I'm terrible about keeping up on them, which always makes for an uncomfortable conversation when I feel the need to have to apologize for my "bad brow behavior". I went and saw Holly in the spa part of the salon and she was AMAZING! In addition to being kind, sweet and charming, she (very gently) took away all the ugly and made me pretty again! Whoosh! Just like that! I've never ever had people comment my eyebrows of all things, and since she did my brows, I've had people actually compliment them. :-) Holly did a great job and the spa is so cute! Hooray for a great spa in Queen Anne!

Best hairstyling and coloring in Seattle. After seeing the one negative review about this place, I felt compelled to write in defense of this salon & its fabulous owner, Marnie---enough that I actually joined citysearch (I am not normally a review-writer). I have been going to Intermezzo Piccolo for my hair cuts and coloring literally for years, and have followed this salon to its now third location on Galer Street. In the past I would occasionally try another salon, just to mix things up, but I always ended up wondering why and going back to Intermezzo. Nowadays, I would not let anyone else color my hair. In addition to being a very talented colorist and hair stylist, Marnie has a wonderful eye for what looks good on me and always gives me her opinion straight-up. Perhaps it's this straight-up quality that the grumpy reviewer didn't like. Anyway, I have several friends who are just as loyal to Intermezzo as I am, and we would all recommend it highly.

Great salon!. Pleasantly surprised to find this new salon on Galer Street! Since I used to work in Bellevue, I'd been going to Gene Juarez there (Emily rocks!). But since I relocated my biz to Seattle, I was a little anxious about where to go. Intermezzo to the rescue! My sister and I both received a FANTASTIC cut & color. They're located in a cool house on Galer. I believe they only have 3-4 stylists (Loni and Marnie are both awesome) and there is a spa upstairs but haven't checked that out yet.

second rate gosip queen. Nice style and decor but i rather go to a dog groomers with a flowbe, the owner was degrading the stylists infront of me. It was uncomfterble and awkword. NOT RECOMMENDED!
