Nigiri and sashimi are the must haves at this Madison Park institution.

Best Sushi In Seattle. No complaints at all about Nishino. Well, maybe the wine is a bit overpriced, but beyond that, the food is excellent. I found the sushi to be great, and not at all expensive for sushi of this quality. The place is exceptionally clean, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be going back.

Excellent food, relaxing atmosphere. I have only been here once, but I would definitely go back again. I had roll that was recommended to me by the waiter and I couldn't have been more pleased.

The Best Fresh Sushi in Seattle. Sushi is very fresh especially my favorite sushi - tako (octopus). If you don't like raw fish, you should try teriyaki beef - medium. The beef is very fresh and soft which is worth for money. Although the sushi is pricey, it worths every penny. Personally, I love this place more than Sushi Zen, I Love Sushi or Wasabi Bay Bistro. The service is okay; it is really dependent on who is your server. I don't care the service but the fresh sushi.

Worth the drive. Really excellent sushi. Nishino serves some of the best toro I've had anywhere. They also have Sochu, a hard to find Japanese liquor, that scratched a craving I've had since my last trip to Japan.

Omakase menu was interesting, however, there were too many attempts at "fusion". Next time, I'll order off the menu or just sit at the sushi bar in amazement.

Excellent Sushi. Nishino is my favorite place for sushi. I never get tired of eating there. The ingredients are extremely fresh and the dishes perfectly presented. They have a really great selection of sake and the service is always perfect.

Best sushi I've ever had!. Let's start by saying that sushi is my favorite food. I've eaten at many different sushi restaurants, from little dive sushi bars, to extremely suave restaurants. Nishino is the best, by a long shot! Masa, my favorite sushi chef, makes the most delicious creations! Beware, though, if you order Omikase (literally means "trust" in Japanese) be prepared to be shocked! Don't order this way unless you really, really love everything there is to sushi. Masa has a way with food, that's for sure! I've never enjoyed sushi more than I do when I'm seated at the bar awaiting Masa's next creation! The service here is excellent, the green tea has amazing flavor! If you order Sake, it is served in beautiful bamboo carafes that are frosted on the outside! Amazing presentation. Mr. Nishino himself can be seen re-filling water, clearing tables, or mingling with frequent guests (and new ones, too!) I highly recommend Nishino with all my heart, and will continue to frequent the best sushi in Seattle!

The Best sushi restaurant in Seattle. I've been in Seattle for two years and had tried so many different sushi restaurants here. When I almost gave up to find good sushi like I had in Japan, I found Nishino. I was impressed by their food, especially sushi. When you try Nishin, you cannot avoid to eat their "toro".

Best Sushi in seattle. After an arduous tour of Seattle sushi, we found ourselves always longing for Nishino. The Sake choices are superb, and the sushi chefs are awesome. Masa, one of the head chefs, will make anything that you can imagine, and if you ask him to go to town and just get creative, he comes up with some amazing creations. Albeit a bit pricey, Nishino is comparable to most every other sushi place in c-town, which begs the question, why is there no sushi happy hour in Seattle. L.A. has Tsunami, which has great sake and rolls during their happy hour, whilts Seattle has more and more traffic. Nonetheless, Nishino is the best Sushi restaurant in Seattle, chopstixs down. :)

A New Favorite!. Nishino quickly became a new favorite after I tried their omakase (chef's choice) dinner. It was a wonderful sampling of their dually authentic and adventurous menu. All items were fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Crowd favorites like toro and hamachi nigiri were complemented elegantly by seared foie gras with shiitake mushrooms and curry dusted halibut cheeks. If you want the real deal and are willing to pay a few extra dollars Nishino is a musty try!

Great Sushi, but TERRIBLE service. It was our first time at Nishino and we were so pleased when we tasted such delicious sushi! However, it had to have been some of the worst service ever. Our waiter only came to our table when he was served us, and several times we had to ask the bus people to get him, as well as my husband having to get up and get the water pitcher. Not only that, we ordered Toro and they brought us clam instead. I realize that they were quite busy, but it's quite upsetting to go to a "nice" place, only to get less than satisfacory service, especially when you're paying top dollar for it. We may try it one more time, because we really did like the food. Hopefully they will read this and get a clue!
