If you sit at the counter and listen to wisecracking grillmeister Renee LeFevre's accent while reading Philadelphia magazine, you'll get an ample dose of Philly flavor. Renee grills up piles of thinly sliced rib-eye steak with onions, adds some white American cheese, hot cherry peppers and serves it all on an Italian roll. Accompanied by a basket of crinkle-cut french fries and a Tastykake--her sandwiches are not for the calorie conscious.

Could be the best lunch place in Seattle. Great sandwiches, great people. If you go try the John Arnold or augment it the way I do. John Arnold, no mush, extra peppers - fantastic. Thank me later.

I found that the food was very poor, has not been very good since Ms LeFevre left back for Philly. The meat is dry, the bread is smaller and the prices higher. My gas tank will get fuller then my stomach on the same amout of money. I think you need to go try Jersey Mikes, and see what a real sandwich is suppose to look and taste like. Also, no parking, and if you get lucky enough, they break into your car on the side street.

Took a friend here who is from PA, he loved it. I love it as well. The food is always top notch and the people behind the counter are friendly and welcoming. Its a great place to eat a lot of meat and cheese and play a game of chess. I reccomend the John Arnold - meat, cheese, and peppers. The prices are a little high since they have to import tastykakes, scrapple, and even the meat from PA, but other than that, this place is great!
