In Short – This friendly neighborhood restaurant is nice enough for a date but casual enough for a weeknight dinner. Prawn soup is a cold buster, with just the right amount of spice in a balanced lime and lemongrass broth. Most dishes are available with your choice of meat, seafood or tofu. Larb is an authentic starter, with ground meat or tofu mixed with roasted rice powder, and plenty of the Thai trinity of mint, lime and cilantro.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go::
- The staff will ask you how spicy you want your food, on a scale of one to four. But many palates may find that even a three is tame.

a friendly restaurant, but slow in service. I have to say though they have the best Thai food in town. I can't go anywhere else after having their Thai food.
- Pros: Friendly, great food
- Cons: slow service
Fresh and tasty!

Like, insanely fresh. They have 4 stars - 2 is about what 3 is at most 1 - 5 star Thai places. Prompt service and good prices as well. Just focus on good parking karma and you will be fine.
Above average!

This dining experience was above average. I started with an order of spring rolls. Great presentation ? the rolls were cut diagonally and stood up on their end in a row. I also ordered the ?lime soda?. The waitress described it as being kind of like lemonade, only with lime and soda water. It was EXCELLENT. However, at $2.95 a glass I doubt I?ll order it every time. I then had the main course, pad thai with beef ? 2 stars. I?ve only seen the presentation they used once before ? they fry an egg onto the pad thai and the dish is served almost hidden by the egg. Very interesting. The pad thai itself was very saucy and flavorful. Their star system seems pretty accurate ? no big surprises. Ordering pad thai with beef is risky - I will probably order the dish with chicken if I come here again. At $18.50 before tip, this was not a cheap thai dinner but it was worth the money. I recommend this place as a break from your usual haunts. Very good atmosphere, friendly staff, welcoming environment.
- Pros: Great food, great presentation, great atmosphere, friendly staff
- Cons: location is inconvenient, kind of pricy

Ate here the other night for the first time. Very good Thai food, good extensive menu, great service, good atmosphere. Nothing too out of the ordinary, just a good Thai food experience.

It's amazing. Lunch specials every day of the week (and weekends, which I love). $8 for pad thai and your choice of curry's. I'm a red curry fan and their sauce is f*cking AMAZING. I mean, it's really really really good. It's a lot of food so you take some home with you. But seriously, do yourself a favor and go now!
- Pros: the best thai food on capitol hill, maybe even seattle.
- Cons: it's on 15th- bad parking kinda hard to get to by foot or bus.
