Step into the animal-safe world of Cafe Flora, complete with a thriving indoor jungle in a restaurant sanctuary extension. Beyond the vegetarian cuisine concept, the food is creative and delicious, the staff is very accommodating the the cocktails are deceptively dangerous.
This food is no value. Service - Great; Ambience - Great; Food - Not So Great - While the food was very creative, the combinations did not work well together. The "Curryburger" was dry and unmemorable. It did not live up to is $9.95 price. The noodle salad was very good. My friend's entree was far too complex.
My favorite vegetarian restaurant. I love the portabella wellington. I have had it over 30 times over the last 7 years and every and everytime it was fantastic. The patio is very cozy and romantic. My kids love it.
You won't even notice it's vegetarian. Seattle is a great town for vegetarian food, and Cafe Flora is the most consistent quality veggie restaurant. I've been meeting a friend for a monthly brunch there for 5 years, and we've never considered changing restaurants.
wouldn't go back. Had dinner here last night and left uninspired. My portabella wellington was soggy and flat and not worth the price. I go out to have something I can't make better at home. And, the place was noisy for its capacity--both the dining room and atrium. If you've been to Greens in SF, you'll be disappionted here.
Vegetarian - are you sure?.
I've taken a handful of friends here and none knew it was a vegetarian restaurant upon arrival. All were apprehensive when ordering, but after the first bite I've made them all converts.
Cafe Flora is amazing in terms of ambience - sit in the outdoor/garden/patio - and service. Each time I've been impressed by the waitstaff.
I highly recommend giving it a shot if you want to try something new.
where i go to treat myself!!!. i love this place!! i have brought meat-eaters here and they have nothing but good things to say. sit in the garden room for relaxation! my favorite story is telling how the first time i went, the server said "we have a fabulous array of foods foraged from the forest floor" so we tried the fiddlehead salad and it was amazing!
Outstanding!. Best vegetarian restaurant in the pacific southwest. We drive there from Portland, Oregon, as often as we can for special occasions. My wife is an earth muffin and her first choice (mine, too), is Cafe Flora.
Love the menu!. The first time I went to Cafe Flora was 4 years ago before I was a vegetarian, and LOVED IT!. Just went there again for brunch today, and I must say that we consistently get great service each time. My husband and I love the great food options, and the true flavors of the food. No bland food can be found here. The best thing about Cafe Flora, in my opinion, is the Snappy Sauce. It's made from Chipotle, but it's not spicey, just really flavorful. Try the Hoppin' Fritters or the Quesadilla. Those are our two favorites. I've also had the BBQ sandwich which was really good, but I got a little tired of the flavor after awhile. It's the only brunch place I've found where they automatically give you a little shot glass of fresh squeezed orange juice to whet your appetite before your meal. You'll love it!
Don't have a cow!.
Went here last night and got
1. paid attention to
2. great food
3. fair price
I can't ask for much more. The clouds and drizzle were outside, but the building transcends it. I can tell the chefs have fun with their imaginations, the results are fantastic. The waitst
I recommend this place to carnivores and herbivores alike!
Bad Experience. Since we had a group of people, we were charged an 18% gratuity for service that we did not get. Prices are much too high for what you get. The quality of the food does not match the rave notices. Those that chose to share a pizza were charged an extra sharing fee.
