Best Haircuts and Weaves. I went to Wendy Amdal in order to follow my stylist Loretta who used to work at Headlines in U Village. I liked the local little salon down in the adorable Madison Park area. It was small and quaint. Loretta has always been an amazing stylist and I get a lot of compliments on my hair. I hope this place gets lots of business because it's great!

True Hairdresser. Wendy has owned the same salon for years-for a good reason. She is a gifted listener and talented hairdresser. I always ask for the same haircut-and when I leave I always get exactly what I ask for. This is rare in a hairdresser as I have left other hair salons wishing I had not visited them! If you ask for a classic cut- this is what she will do. There is NO choppy-choppy weed-whacker messy-cuts (unless you really want this). She is also great with color. I have seen Wendy (or one of her associates) for the past 10 years. I would be lost without her... As for price, she has always been reasonable. As for atmosphere, it is usually quiet, with maybe one person coming in as your being blown dried with her cabable hands. Wendy likes to run her own show; and she's GOOD AT IT!!!!

The Best Haircut. If you want a great haircut, go see Wendy. Over the years, "big names", both local and national, have tried to

steal her away. We are lucky she decided to stay in her own place, doing what she does so well.

She may be expensive, but she is well worth it! You won't leave her shop disappointed, nor will you wake up the next day, wondering what to do with your hair. Her cuts just work. And for many of us, that is worth a lot.

You want how much!!???. Ok, first I want to give Wendy and her staff two thumbs up for service and courtesy. Wendy herself has been in business for 30 years, but I don't care how long you've been in business it doesn't give you the right to charge 65 bucks for a mans hair cut (women too). I thought that the receptionist was joking when she told me. I guess that I should have figure it was going to be pricey because they didn't have prices posted anywhere. In the end Wendy did knock the price down 20 bucks which I was very appreciative of, but still 45 bucks for a hair cut for a guy! Too much
