In Short – Sink into a creamy leather chair, have a cup of coffee and peruse the latest Architectural Digest while your toes are painted a bright, mango red. Frenchy's is classically appointed with a ring of Roman columns interspersed between the seven manicure stations. European beauty products and lotions line the soft, spring-green walls and shabby chic chaise lounges invite you to relax while watching your "paint" dry. Prices are remarkably reasonable, considering the environment and the friendly staff.

This salon is a fun spot and oh so relaxing. The pedicures are out of this world. You must upgrade to the paraffin dip. Everyone there is very attentive from the front desk girls to the service providers. While not the cheapest, it’s very reasonable considering the overall experience and durability of the pedis. I love the trinkets and treasures. Scored some CUTE earrings - cuteness.

After living out of the area for two years, I have returned to Seattle and to Frenchy's. Last week, I came in for my first pedicure and facial. The salon has been updated - new paint, furniture, carpeting - lovely, very clean. The shabby sheek look is gone. Kudos to the owners! As always, my pedicure was the best, as was the facial.

APPALLING

I was there with some gfriends and had a mani. when I went to the sink to wash my hands there was a big toe nail on the counter. I am not sure what happened to this place but it has gone downhill. When we sat in the couch area, it to was filthy. There were pieces of cotton and dirty cups everywhere. Frenchy's, it has lost it's lust!

When to Go:
Make an appointment far in advance--at least three weeks for a pedicure.
Parking:
There's rarely an available space in the tiny lot, and most spaces are for 30 minutes only. Look on the street.
Know Before You Go:
Be prepared for the part of the facial where "germs are killed." After extractions, the aesthetician uses electric current to prevent blemishes from surfacing. The procedure feels much like tiny needles being inserted into your face.
