In Short
Sink into a creamy leather chair, have a cup of coffee and peruse the latest Architectural Digest while your toes are painted a bright, mango red. Frenchy's is classically appointed with a ring of Roman columns interspersed between the seven manicure stations. European beauty products and lotions line the soft, spring-green walls and shabby chic chaise lounges invite you to relax while watching your "paint" dry. Prices are remarkably reasonable, considering the environment and the friendly staff.

Insider Tips
When to GoMake an appointment far in advance--at least three weeks for a pedicure.
ParkingThere's rarely an available space in the tiny lot, and most spaces are for 30 minutes only. Look on the street.
Know Before You GoBe prepared for the part of the facial where "germs are killed." After extractions, the aesthetician uses electric current to prevent blemishes from surfacing. The procedure feels much like tiny needles being inserted into your face.

The product that Frenchie's used for my pedicure ruined my very expensive flip flops - when I called to complain, the manager told me that it wasn't their fault, it wasn't their problem. When I asked them what they could do for me to rectify the situation, I was basically told to try and retturn my shoes where I purchased them. Additionally, The pedicure was not classy. I got to soak my feet in luke warm wather for 15 minutes (the water got cold) then the pedicurist chatted with her co-worker through the pedicure. Then She put a luke warm towel on my legs for 10 minutes. Funny, they refer to their pedicure as an hour of bliss.

I went with a group of girlfriends to Frenchy’s to get manicures and it was the low spot in an otherwise great day. The manicure was rushed and the quality was horrid! The technician was rude and rushed through the manicure: neglecting to remove the wax from my hands after the paraffin dip and when she painted my nails she missed parts. The best part is that they have you hold your hands in front of a fan to dry them. Hmmm what happens to nail polish when you apply forced air? A terrible manicure with a rippled wind tunnel finish. This place is overpriced ($25 for the manicure) and under quality, avoid it all costs.
