Seattle's Best

Located away from busy intersections in a small part of town, don't be fooled by this sushi resturant's outside appearance. This is the best sushi joint I've been to in a while. I have tried many sushi from Austin, TX to Boston, MA and this is close to the top of my list for best sushi. They offer generous portions, without skimping out. The fish is very fresh and high quality. If anyone were to visit just one sushi resturant in all of Seattle, I would strongly recommend this place! -Sw
Go to Tokyo, stay in Seattle

For good sushi, good service and good atmosphere, this is the place to go. It's not the coolest or most expensive in town. Those are just a few go things we enjoy about ST. You don't have to wait in long lines, the sushi is fresh and the people are great.
- Pros: It's all good.
- Cons: Too many menu options.
Always fresh and tasty

When my boyfriend and I moved up to Seattle we searched for great sushi at many restaurants, but we didn't find any until we went to Sushi Tokyo. The fish is so fresh and they have a really good selection. The prices are reasonable as well. It also had a nice relaxing atmosphere, I would recommend this place to anyone who likes good sushi. We are never disappointed.
Best sushi ever!

This place has the best sushi in town! I have tried so many sushi joints all over the city of Seattle and this one is by far the best. My husband and I go at least once every two weeks sometimes once a week. It is affordable and fresh every time. The owners, Woo and Young are always super friendly and the service is great. I would suggest this place if you want a casual sushi dinner for less money.
- Pros: The best rolls in Seattle
- Cons: Not so fancy
An undiscovered Sushi haven!!!

Regarding others feedback: All the PRO's are correct, but any remarks prior to 2004 are not relative. The restaurant is under new ownership. Woo and Yung took over in 2004. I found this location in 2006 by a random GPS search. I have traveled greatly and eaten at many locations only to find that this is one of the top 4 locations in the U.S. As for the Seattle market, this is the best priced fresh sushi I can find. I am very particular about my sushi and this is a place I would stake my reputation on. I take many friends or clients here and every one agrees that this is one of Seattle?s greatest sushi secrets. As for the owners and wait staff- you will find that they are all somewhat shy due to their English and culture, but know that if you take the time to sit at the bar and get to know them, they are very personable, pleasant, and take great care in your service and enjoyment. Afterwards you can walk two blocks south and enjoy a brew and darts at the pub. :)
