Traditional Thai food consists of four different tastes: hot-spicy, sweet, sour and salty. In addition, it is customary to order Thai food according to its spiciness or hotness. Just a couple items off our menu to tempt you- Satay: Chicken on Skewers Thom Yum: Hot and sour soup with onions, mushrooms, lemon grass and lime juice Pad Thai: Rice stick noodles stir fried with egg and bean sprouts. Garnished with ground peanuts. Pad Pak: Choice of chicken, pork or beef stir fry with garden vegetables.

In Short – Casual parties congregate for classic Thai dishes served on colorful Fiestaware. Generous booths provide family-friendly comfort before or after a Green Lake stroll. As an appetizer, try the cream cheese-dipped prawns wrapped in rice paper and then fried. Spicy, coconut milk-infused Massaman curry combines beef and potatoes, while the dark pad thai challenges the notion of it being pink and sweet.

Heat!!

by cosmos275

Great food. Really interesting Pad Thai. I love when a place asks how hot you want the Pad Thai (becuase they aren't doing it right if they don't). So, me, being gung-ho for the noodle dsh ask for 4/5 hotness. This was no joke, I was in pain most of the time. But the food underneath the heat was great. I'm going for 2/5 next time and hope to work my way up to 3.

Great appetizers too.

  • Pros: Good food, good atmosphere
  • Cons: Heat rating not meant for white people

great food, terrible service

by dri69

My fiance and I are new to the city and decided on Krittika's Noodles & Thai Cuisine based on the reviews on citysearch and the location. The food was excellent. I had the red curry plate and she had stir fry veg n noodle. The waitress however was terrible. Not only did she not refill our water pitcher when empty, after I finished my meal she immediately brought the check. She didn't care that my fiance was only half done with her food, nor did she bother to ask if we wanted desert. After I told her that we wanted to order dessert, she stood impatiently waiting for the order. I had to tell her that I would like to wait till my fiance had finished her plate. When she came back one minute latter to list the desserts I had to tell her once again that we were not yet done with our meal. - all in all the food was great, but the staff needs training.

LOVE IT THIS IS THE BEST THAI FOOD IN SEATTLE HANDS DOWN

by thirstygab

I am a Food taster/Critic and I do it for a living. I've been tasting foods from around the world since 1983. I spent 4 years in asia tasting everything from Chinese, Indian, Korean to Japanese foods. My favorite however was Thai because of how flavorful every dish tastes. Thai truly utilizes all the four flavors of sweet, sour, salty, and spice. The biggest dissapointment was coming back to Seattle to taste the most horrible american flavored Thai food. It was impossible for any Thai joint here to duplicate the real deal. But when I found this little place in the Alley Mall broadway called Bangkok Cafe, that was when I found my first and probably last favorite Thai cusine. When they eventually moved to capitol hill 15th and harrison I followed.

I remained loyal for years. I am telling you all this story for 3 reasons and listen very carefully. 1. If you have never been to Thailand and had real Thai food your opinion is not credible. 2. If you like american flavored Thai food then this is not the place for you cause this is the closes you will ever get to eatting in Thailand. 3. Last but not least The owners, the cooks, and the staff are the same people from Bangkok Cafe.

  • Pros: Its worth walking for
  • Cons: Parking is bad
