The Scene
With a live music lineup that favors bluegrass, blues and other acoustic acts, the Fiddler draws folks from all over Wedgewood for good, clean, nonsmoking fun. The patchwork of ceiling ducts overhead give the space a bit of a basement feel, but with the owners penchant for great vintage wines, you'll want to spend most your time at the nostalgic bar anyway.
The Draw
Shortly after Seattle cast off the shackles of Prohibition, the Fiddler's Inn started pouring pints, and today, the cozy neighborhood bar still looks the part of a friendly pub. In addition to the live music there's tasty pizza, hefty salads and plenty of non-greasy snacks to choose from.

I walked in and sat at the bar for about 10 minutes. After the bar tender served several customers who came in after me while ignoring me, I got the message. I was dressed casually, clean, hair cut and tidy, like any other of the patrons. No one came up to me so it can't have been something I said. That only leaves my skin color. Great.

I have never been some were that you need to beg for some one to bring you a drink...or your food that you ordered 45 minutes before. I keep trying to go, but the service makes it impossible. One time we sat at the bar and the short haired girl was nice to us, but in general they either must hate their job or people in general. I really really want this to be a fun place to go, but i will never go back because of the service.
