Sarah is the best!!. I became a fan and a loyalist of Derby largely due to my amazing hairstylist, Sarah and I've now been going there for over 5 years and I always leave happy. Best Hair Salon in Seattle. I have curly hair and it is very hard to find a stylist that can work with it w/out burning it or cutting it wrong. When I knew about Derby Salon I decided to try it out and loved it. Levy does a wonderful job with color and haircuts. Would totally recommend him if you want to have the right color and cut.

Also, Justen does a great job waxing your eyebrows. If they are not right he shows you where to let some hair grow, and he teaches you where your eyebrow arch should start depending on your face.

Perfect Cut and Color!. If you want great color and style, you must see Andy at Derby Salon. He's been doing my hair for several years and I love it every time. Not only does he do a great job, he is also the nicest and most hilarious guy you'll meet! Andy will listen to what you want, give you an honest opinion about whether it will work and has great suggestions if you want to try something new. The salon is very hip and fun and they carry the best products (I love Bumble & bumble!).…

Amazing color service and nails. Love Love Love Derby! From the products for sale, purses, art, super friendly staff, flexible scheduling, to the (most importantly) incredible services, Derby has it all!! For hair, Andy is a genius with color, as I have had ongoing issues with coloring my hair due to medications I take, and he always chooses great color, gets it to stick and not turn or fade to a funny color. He also does a great job of covering up all the grey. He listens to what I want, and then actually does my hair even better than what I thought I wanted. He's especially good at cutting my curly hair as well -- so hard to find someone who will work *with* curl instead of giving you a cut that is really meant for straight hair. And on top of his years of experience and understated style and talent, he is pretty darn funny. Always a good time to be had while he's applying my color or cutting my hair. He reflects Derby's style -- high quality but not stuffy or pretentious.

For nails - Xochil is hands down the best mani/pedi in town. Pedis have never lasted as long as they do when she does the job. She is friendly, welcoming, and super-precise with the polish.…
