Best late night food shop.. Don't do it! Don't eat junk food ! These people are open all night just so you can get the best groceries ever. It's a little pricey, but everything from produce to deli is first rate. And... you can get your milk in recyclable glass bottles.

Great Employees though badly treated. Great Employees there but boy are they mistreated.

People get fired for smoking on their ten minute breaks.

Their hours get arbitrarily cut.

They work kids in the back like animals for 8 bucks an hour.

They're so busy catering to their yuppy clientele that they can't tell their employees feel like they're in a prison.

Man, these small grocery chains are supposed to be different than the big ones but there isn't much of a difference.

I'll be shopping at safeway and hoping for a trader joe's to open in the neighborhood some time soon.

Top-quality food is displayed like fine art: Meats are arranged like sculptures, pastries like jewels, vegetables like a Dutch still-life. Vibrant chalkboards mark the aisles and clever ceramics denote individual kiosks. It's not all show, however. Knowledgeable and cheerful staff--some trained in France--explain cheese rinds, aged beef, food and wine pairings and the best chocolate cookbook, and the store is one of the best places in town to discover those hard-to-find gourmet items.

Take all your money market. Stop on in and hand us your wallet. The smoke and mirrors will almost make you believe this fresh food is worth your hard earned money and they are more than willing to take it.

300 pounder loves to eat!. Incredible selection. As a "big boned" person I love to eat a variety of things. Thriftway has the best selection of foods.

Never leave hungry!. Fanta-bulous freebies from 4-6 pm every day...area chefs from the best restaurants hand out samples of truly divine "mini-meals" - along with the recipe! Cheese and olive samples available all day. Very extensive wine & beer selection! Too easy to spend $100 while just going for "bread and milk"!

Specialness Supreme. Going to this store is actually fun! If you EVER need anything they don't have they will get it for you. Personality of all employees is positive, friendly and they just have that extra bit of "specialness" that makes this store what it is.

Beyond Expectation. The first time I walked into Thriftway I thought WOW, I won't have to cook again. Everything in the deli comes made to order & is always fresh.
