The Italian linens will tempt you as much the black-bottomed muffins in this cozy West Seattle cafe and store.. In Short
Locals from the neighborhood greet each other over lattes in one section of the spacious store. The rest is filled with thoughtfully hand-picked home furnishings for bed and bath, living and dining room and kitchen. The selection is reminiscent of an international bazaar--Mexican glassware, French soaps and mahogany furniture from Java. Clever displays are found throughout the store of too-cute baby clothes, candles, dinnerware, baskets overflowing with kitchen gadgets and semi-precious jewelry glittering behind glass.

Great gifts, stylish furniture, home accessories. Capers has two stores, one in West Seattle and a newer one in Fremont. Both have friendly, capable salespeople and stylish gifts, furniture and home accessories. The West Seattle location has great sandwiches, desserts and coffee/tea/Italian sodas. It's hard not to find just the right gift for a birthday, wedding, baby shower or housewarming. Really beautiful, nice things you can't find just anywhere.

Unique furniture and housewares. Capers has a great mix of original wood furniture, numerous kitchen, bath and home decor items. If you are looking for a unique item or original gift- this is a great place. They have a great garden and outdoor selection too. Plus an espresso stand and small cafe to relax in. A small but unique- one of kind shop.
