Blue Tarp and Rainier in a Can. This place rules. Tacos, cans of beer and the best view of Seattle.

The tarp makes a lot of people think it is closed down, but it ain't.

Not Just For Bikers anymore. True, the Alki Tavern's claim to fame was the biker dive bar environment.

Although you will still catch a few Harleys out front, I have to say, that "Biker Dive Bar" is not a completely accurate statement.

In a growingly condominium community, The Alki is really not a "rough in the diamonds"

A great view, of the seattle skyline in all its majesty is only a look thru the window away.

And it wont cost you 1/2 million here.

The staff is very friendly and the environment, contrary to popular belief is not the rough and tumble biker mentality.

Everytime I've been there someone is ready to spark up a conversation.

People there know eachother and are always happy to see a new face.

"10 Cent Bar with a Million Dollar View" a direct quote from owner, is a drive by statement.

Step inside and you will see that The Alki Tavern is a great place to meet people and have a good brew.

I'll be going there for years to come.

I hope to see you there!

#2 WHAT?. This bar should be #1 for dive bars. I mean what other bar gets a new tarp every year for its roof? The view can't be beat and you gotta love those bartenders-even when they had a rough night the night before! I love this bar!!

Last call for Taco's........ This is what you will hear around 9:30 on a Thursday. Great biker environment with good people.
