Our oldest daughter left All About Kids last fall to go to Kindergarten, she was there since she was 3 months old, our other daughter who is 2 is there and we plan on leaving her until she goes to school. It has been a great experience for our family. The staff is so friendly and nurturing. They are very organized and always plan fun activities for the kids. I can honestly say I feel good when I leave each morning because they are so attentive. I like that there is a low staff turnover. The director is friendly, organized and responds quickly. If you are looking for care I recommend you check out All About Kids.
So Happy We Found All About Kids. We started touring daycares in downtown Seattle and West Seattle as soon as we found out we were pregnant. All About Kids was by far our favorite. Our daughter has been there since she was 3 months old and we could not be happier. She loves going to daycare every day and her development has been wonderful. The staff members are experienced, warm and professional and treat each child as an individual with respect and love. They take the time to get to know the parents as well. I can say have NEVER witnessed anything remotely like what was described in the negative post below. Every parent should choose a daycare that they feel is the best fit and all I can say is that we are glad we found All About Kids.
Negative vibe, not a place for infants to grow. As soon as I walked in for a tour, I knew there was no way I would leave my child in care here. The whole place had a very negative vibe. The infant room was staffed by childcare students who made no eye contact with the babies, did not talk to them or interact with them. They seemed like unhappy employees. The woman giving the tour knelt down to one little baby boy, and in a mean tone said, "You're as fat as the Michelin man," then knelt over to another little baby, and in a sweet voice said, "Oh, aren't you so cute!" Babies are little sponges who pick up on tone of voice, and that's how she talks to a little baby?! Another woman who worked there had open sores around her mouth - nope, don't need to put my baby at risk of getting oral herpes. This was a very unnurturing, negative environment. Every other daycare I've toured in Seattle has been far superior to this.
It's all about the money, not the kids. we had a bad experience there - there were several good staff members, but the owner was not a good person...do not recommend to anyone.
User review by alkisand. Beware! Too many families have had bad experiences here. I don't recommend this place even as a last choice.
