over priced drinks

great burgers

not much parking

cool dive bar atmosphere

Very hot bartender (Amanda)

Poker nights, trivia, bingo, guitar hero

They come out with some AWESOME groupons!

Gone several times....not impressed. The bar is convenient from where I live, however, depending on the night the service sucks unless you have boobs and a pretty smile. The food is decent, as it's smoked on site. You need to ask what and when it was smoked though. My biggest complaint is really the service. I have been there many times and it seems that as far as the male bartender is concerned.....unless you have breasts and are a pretty woman, than you kind of get forgotten about, and that is even if you are sitting right in front of him at the bar. There is one female bartender there on the weekends that is top notch!! The smoked meats are decent. The ribs however are beef ribs and if you don't get them within a day they are tough as hell, and really fatty. The brisket is the best IMHO. The fried chicken in and of itself is tasty, but the sides are the usual canned vegetable variety with some OK mashed potatoes. I have made up my mind not to go back there, as it's just not worth my time and money. A lot of folks like it, as they offer poker and Karaoke. For me though...if I'm going to sit in a small neighborhood bar, then I would like decent service regardless of my sex.

Alas, A great place has been bought... and lost it's appeal. ...dangerous to the mufflers and you still have to double park. The blue collar lunches have been replaced by a BBQ menu, but it's all done by kit and last week the health dept shut that down too.

The best Bartenders have been fired, the regulars have been booted, the .25 a song juke has been updated with an electronic one (but the good news there is that you get 20 plays if you play $5.00 at a time), the pull tabs pulled, the prices raised, the drinks watered and the night thrives with Karaoke and Guitar Hero.

On the plus side they now have Direct TV with the sports package and you'll usually not find any soap operas.

There is one good cook left at nights, but the weekend menu has been reduced as well; so the wait for that great steak is no longer, 'course the great steaks are no longer too.

There is a deck now, which though uncovered does allow you to take your drink outside if you smoke...

The pull tabs are gone but there is a lotto machine to play. There was a computer for use, but it seems to have gone away rather quickly. There is still one counter top video game, luckily it seems to be staying put.

PS DID I MENTION THAT THE WALLS HAVE EARS? YES THIS BAR IS WIRED FOR SOUND AS WELL AS VIDEO SO DON'T SAY WHAT YOU WON'T WANT REPEATED!!! Or frankly, held against you, do not complain about the changes while you are there as you may be asked to leave...

...Which is what I've done, I'll follow my favorite lady, Susan to whichever bar is lucky enough to snap her up.

Editorial Review. This no-nonsense tavern in the Seattle area serves up beer and wine and a full menu of delicious offerings, including burgers, soups, chicken and fish.

Best Cheap Food in Ballard. ITS JUST LIKE HOME COOKING ITS GREAT.

You must try theyre Pork Chops or Chicken dinner.

Large portions, great food and price. Theyer drinks are good too.

BALLARD RULES !. Ok here it is....The last good dive bar in ballard.

Strong cheap drinks and decent food.

They have specials that are ok and one pool table.
