The only place north of the ship canal for service
by GayLawnGuy
I've always gotten great service and recommended the place to many. I started sharpening my own blades to save money. So I haven't been in for a year. Reading these reviews I miss this little shop even more. (Love the hard root beer candy, so does the Larry.) I've been in line while Claudia tries to help people on the phone. Why do customers call and waste a shops time to diagnose a problem over the phone?
I'm happy that customer went to the other place. Hope she got good service from the p*t head. Bad hire!
When you use the place on Aurora get ready to wait weeks for equipment to be fixed. I love how they stack mowers three high. And move them outside daily.
Benefits of ownership

On days when I don't feel like being snippy and boorish, my choice of lawnmower repair is Brewer. I like a business that is willing to fire a customer. This alone is reason enough to patronize a mom and pop business - they have no boss to fire them for refusing to kowtow to an unreasonable customer.
If you need a doormat for a repairman, take your rusty, old bike to Aaron in West Seattle - he'll hand you a hanky at the door.
Way to go, Claudia and Larry!
- Pros: Reasonable rates, honest service
- Cons: Can't be snippy with them
right on!

I like these guys, they are straight forward honest.
I have owned a push mower for my house for 15 years and always get it sharpened there. The last time I took it in I was dissapointed to learn it was warn out and beyond repair but at least they had a new one available for a reasonable price. And took the time to explain to me what all was wrong with my old one. Basically all caused from leaving it out in the weather year in and year out.
