Worst Pho Ever!
by Thenewlyweds05 at Citysearch
When my wife and I walked in and took a seat, we noticed that the spoons were dirty right away. After notifying the employee, he looked a bit angry. Despite notifying him, the spoons that replaced the old ones were still dirty.
After ordering our food, this is where things went terribly wrong. As I was mixing my pho, I noticed a long pubic hair in the soup. It was the most disgusting experience I've had with food. I bet it will be the most disgusting experience in my life. The hair was black, squiggly, and about 3 inches long! We all know what pubic hair looks like.
He expected us to eat there still and order a new dish. However, its all in the same pot, no way! We walked out and will never go there again.
- Pros: Parking
- Cons: Hygiene
Fantastic Pho!

I go here at least once (sometimes every day) every time I am in the Seattle area. The staff is very friendly even though English is not their first language. It can get busy but don't let that keep you from going. Like any other restaurant, service is a bit slower when there is a crowd. I have eaten here nearly 30 times and I have never had a bad experience and you can always be sure the food will be GREAT. I have had Pho in about 10 cities and over 20 different restaurants around the country and Pho Van tops my list. I cannot say enough about this place.
- Pros: Great Pho! - Inexpensive - Vietnamese Music Playing
- Cons: Sometimes crowded

I prefer ordering to-go rather than dining in. The restaurant is noisy and the service can be slow at times. Also, some or most of the staff do not speak English well. But ordering by item number (#21 is my fave) or pointing on the menu will work. The food is tasty and inexpensive. A great value.
- Pros: tasty food, inexpensive
- Cons: , crowded
