I wish had seen these other reviews before going there tonight with my daughter. The food was okay at best, but the service was shocking. The server didn't even greet us when we arrived and we simply had to guess that the menus he threw down on a table was the table meant for us. He also seemed confused and put out when I asked for some steamed vegtables to be added to one of our dishes. I will never go back to this establishment again, and I am writing this review because I am fed us with these type restaurants existing in Seattle on their past reputation.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have ordered food from this restaurant regularly for over a year and recently placed an order for delivery. Unfortunately, I lost my debit card and was waiting for a new one so I told them I'd be writing a check. According to their website, they accept checks with valid drivers license, etc. However, when I called they gave me a line about the fact that they don't accept checks from people who live in apartments because they bounce checks! Not only is this the most ridiculous and insulting thing I've ever heard, but the person on the phone was extremely rude and didn't seem to care that they were going to lose a regular customer. If you live in a house, I guess your fine, but if you live in an apartment, forget about customer service!
WORST customer service. My husband, daughter, and I tried this place tonight. We had a terrible experience. We had a gift certificate from restaurant.dotcom to use. They REFUSED to accept it. They gave us a crazy story about restaurant.dotcom stealing their logo and it was fraud. One of the conditions of the gift certificate was that you had to order at least $35 in food. We ended up ordering over $40 in food. Much more than we would normally order. They wouldn't work with us at all. They were rude and made my daughter cry. It really was a terrible experience. You should definately think twice before going here. If you have a restaurant.dotcom gift certificate I highly suggest you show it to them before you order.
Disappointment. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this restaurant. I ordered food to be delivered around 3 hours ago. I called to ask where they were 50 minutes later and the guy frantically said he would call me later. When I didn't hear back 1.5 hours later I called the restaurant and the hostess casually said they couldn't find it and the deliverer drove back to the restaurant. She told me I could pick it up if I wanted it. I was never notified that my food wasn't coming to me and I did not feel that they really cared at all. Terrible customer service.
New owners not making friends.. I have been patronizing Pandasia for about 12 years now, both for delivery and dine in. Since they have changed owners I have noticed a definate change in the quality in the food from very good to below average, I wanted to give them another shot. I visited their web site and viewed their menu to place an order, after calling and placing the order it was apparent that the total was wrong and I was over charged $3. When calling back to confirm the mistake they proceeded to tell me that I had an old menu, I told them I was looking at their web site menu and they should honor the pricing that is advertised. They then told me their web site had not been updated in a year. They made no effort to make up for the false advertising on their web site menu and the owner or manager in the background was speaking an asian foreign language and seemed very irritated with my call. I promptly canceled my order and will not be patronizing this establishment again.
Save your 20 bucks....
Alright. I don?t want to be mean, but I will be honest. The food was so bad that we didn?t even finish our meals. It was so bad that I felt compelled to sign up on to this site and tell everyone to save your money and go to QFC and get something from the deli.
I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan and my wife ordered the Phad Thai. (I have been to both China and Thailand a number of times, but I am judging their food against other American restaurants? food.) The Moo Goo Gai Pan was drenched in oil and was made from brown sauce. Most often you will find the white-chicken based sauce. Most egregious of all, it had friggin? Shiitake mushrooms in it. Shiitake mushrooms do not belong in Moo Goo?.Moo Goo means ?white button mushrooms?. Also note worthy was the absence of water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and the Chinese cabbage was scarce. The chicken pieces were ok. The Phad Thai was made from cheap rice noodles and I was shocked that the sauce was made from ketchup and some pepper flakes. I?m not trying to be inflammatory or rely on hyperbole to make a point. It was really ketchup. There was not a trace of cilantro and there was about a two-inch piece of green onion. The only other onion we found was yellow onion. It was by far the worst tasting thing I have ever eaten. It was so bad that we laughed! We just had some Frosted Flakes to fill the void and watched Family Guy.
Only saving grace= The delivery guy was nice and was here in about 30 min. So, if you have no taste-buds, you can call and meet the nice man who came to our place.
P.S. My heart is pounding in my chest now and I could possibly die. I write back tomorrow if I do.
best asian delivery. This place rocks! They were fast, nice, and the food is great. Far better than most dine in asian rest. in seattle
Best Chinese Food Anywhere - Best Delivery.
I am a regular customer of Pandasia, both dine-in and delivery and have to say that it is my all time favorite for flavor, customer service, and convenience.
Pandasia hand-seasons and breads all meats, from savory calimari to perfectly tender chicken, pork or beef. The dry string beans (hold the pork for me!) are superb and traditional tasting, and the crispy ginger beef is simply amazing! For the most unique spin on chow mein, the Pandameinia (with two types of home-made noodles) is NOT TO BE MISSED!
For a fresh-cooked traditional Chinese meal delivered to your front door, Pandasia's delivery can't be beat. Wait times can vary depending on how busy the restaurant is and how many deliveries are going out - on a weeknight this can be as quick as under half an hour to around an hour on busier nights. The drivers that I've encountered have been polite, professional, and enthusiastic about customer service. If you live in the north Seattle area - especially Magnolia, Queen Anne, Ballard or Fremont - DON'T MISS PANDASIA!!!
This place has the WORST SERVICE IN SEATTLE!!!. Living in Magnolia, my wife and I do not have much choice in delivery for asian food. We had previously eaten in at Pandasia, and while the food was mediocre, the helpings were generous, so I assumed they were worth a shot for something simple like sweet & sour chicken. Boy was I wrong! We ordered on a Friday night after a long week of work, hungry and tired, thinking a yummy mess of sweet and sour chicken would do the trick. After we waited for an hour, the delivery driver finally showed up, we made the exchange, I gave 20% tip, and we looked forward to a tasty meal. Unfortunately, they did not deliver the critical element of the sweet and sour sauce, so all we had was the chicken. OK, this was a mistake, not unforgivable, but the obviously simple remedy of having the driver return post-haste with the sauce was what turned this into an infuriating experience, meriting a single star review. After I called to get the replacement sauce, it took the driver another hour to return (from a restaurante that is 5 minutes away), and then the sauce was cold. When I called the restaurant to complain, the smug young man answering the phone essentially told me that there was nothing that they would do to remedy the miserable experience that was their delivery meal. No partial refund for my crappy meal, no return of my tip, for the crappy services they rendered. Nothing. I've never been hosed like this at a restaurant. This place will not get another dime of my business, ever. Bad restaurant!
Best chinese resturant. One night i decide to order chinese and i called pandasia. i order a lettuce chicken wrap, kung pao chicken, and potsticker. it got here very quick and the food was amazing. i order it once about 2 year ago and it was very digusting but now the "new" pandasia it so much better. so i decided to go down there to eat and they have new bathrooms and sits too! i felt really comfortable eating there and the food is really good. i introduced to my other friend and they like it very much. so if you decide to eat chinese and you dont know where to go i surely recommend pandasia!
