A perfect spot to grab the #3 (two chicken tacos, rice and beans) and head to a local park for a picnic. Or grab one of the two tables outside for a great spot to enjoy your fajitas. It's fast, fresh and good.

Chicken tacos and steak fajitas are my go to at this QA hole in the wall. Complimentary chips & salsa and a few outdoor seats are a bonus.
It's ok if you haven't had better. It's not bad, but it is not what I am looking for on a regular basis. The food was not as tasty as I had hoped for. The tortillas were the regular sized one's available at the store, not the doubled up smaller one's found in authentic Taquerias. They did not serve my order with lime wedges. There were no extra garnishes available such as onions, cilantro, guac, jalapenos, etc. Plus the prices were standard with American food. If you've had the real deal, you know what I mean.
Unassuming Mexican takeout spot on Queen Anne..
In Short
This little cafe comprises only four tables and a little window counter. Most people order off the big menu board and take out their freshly made tacos, burritos, tamales and sandwiches known as tortas. Grilled fish comes drizzled with creamy sauce, while the shredded pork is accented with just a few crispy grilled bits. Rice and whole beans in a thick broth are available as sides.
great food, no smiles. Other than the taco trucks in Ballard, Burien, White Center, and Rainier Ave, the only place for Burritos is Malena's. The food is excellent. I keep hoping that I might have a conversation with the employees and my friend would like them to at least consider a substitution before saying "NO!" but go for the food, not for the dialogue or to have it "your way." If you don't want to head to eastern WA, their way is better than the other alternatives in Seattle.
Best Tacos In Seattle.
Finally! A top notch taqueria in Seattle! The fish tacos are as good as anything in San Diego. The pork tacos are the stuff of legend, they are that good.
It's teeny, maybe room for 10 people. Consider takeout if it's busy. You get free chips and salsa (average quality) with the purchase of anything on the menu, even if you get just one taco. A large water dispenser in the corner makes beverage purchase unnecessary.
Tasty & Fare. I had a tasty taco, simply made with chicken, plenty of lettuce and an honest taco shell in a genuine setting. Hard to beat the tastiness combined with the authenticity in both product and price. nice work guys
can you say "yum"?. it's all about the food in this tiny joint, and boy does malena's live up to the reviews. large portions, fresh ingredients, SO yummy. my hubby's been looking for a good chile relleno since he left new mexico 15 years ago - he finally found it here. burritos are excellent, as is the guac. great prices, too.
authentic mexican, cheap!. I love this place, and you can eat a very good (best in Seattle, in my opinion) authentic Mexican meal for under $5. What a bargain!!!
