In Short
A burger joint at heart, the menu consists of hearty late night snacks and hangover-cure breakfasts. To get really retro, step into the dark, cosmological cavern in back. Here you'll find a bar with strong drinks, pull tabs, a pool table and old men who look like regulars. Up front, the karaoke bar fills nightly with young folks singing soundtrack songs and '80s hits.

Problem is the staff treats you horribly (allowing you to order that last pitcher at 1:15, a half hour before the legal stop time on Seattleites drinking) at 1:17 they come by and yell "Get the F*!?% out!!" Confused, you may ask, "What?" Any one of their bouncers, however nice you may think they may be will get in your face and yell, "Get the F#$% out!!" Umm...okay. I thought this was a cool place...kareoke, pool, photo hunt...not so much but I may be persuaded to come back, not so sure why. So you try to support their business on a Wednesday night...Kareoke might be a fun treat for your out-of-town guests...Ozzie's staff clearly has a different idea. If you sing along with any other singers, that girl (who brought her own cd to sing along with) may complain at which point, you will be asked to leave (you and your group of 12 business providing singer/friends) by the ever so kind, Ozzie's staff because you were singing louder than the girl with the mike. Since when did casual kareoke become American Idol? That's my question. Have you ever particpated in kareoke, sister? Yeah, people sing with you. What's the deal? I know...it's super offensive to have anyone else sing your tune but get over yourself; you sucked in the first place! Case and point: Ozzie's: not a cool place to go if you enjoy fun of any sort. They also are many cue and eightballs (website said b@lls was inappropriate) down. My brother and I have tried to play pool a number of times but they always seem to be missing the full set. What's with that? Moral of the story: stop going to Ozzie's. They are not nice and clearly do not like business. Why do we continue to go there? This question is a mystery to me. Let's stop the madness. Get new influences in Queen Anne. Ozzie's is not the place. Inappropriate and altogether rude and spineless staff...what's left to ponder. Quit Ozzie's, go to Floyd's, Peso's or, if you're hungry, grab some Dick's. We don't need any other dicks in the neighborhood.
Pros: staff is inpolite and out and out rude
Cons: staff

When my partner said he wanted to do karakoe for his birthday, I said ok, then scrambled to find a spot. Asking around, several people told me to check out Ozzie's. They were right! We had a great time. I called a couple days in advance to make arrangements for our party of 12. Ozzie's reserved tables in the upstairs karakoe room for us (they also do karakoe downstairs). We started our party early, around 8 PM. There were relatively few people then, so we got to dominate the microphone. Kevin set us up with every karakoe song we could think of. And Josie and Rhianna kept the drinks flowing. Cindy was amazingly helpful in reserving the tables and making sure we were taken care of. We will go back!
Pros: Service, karakoe, drink selection
Cons: food is ok
