Awful service. The other reviews are spot on, this is the worst service I have ever dealt with. Treats us rudely. 110 days later we still do not have our machine back, no less any idea when or if it will ever be returned. Use any other Krups Service Center besides this guy.
Worst Service in Seattle. I thought maybe it was just me, but after reading the other the reviews, it's obvious that the owner of this business truly doesn't care about his customers. He can be that way probably because this is the only place in the Seattle area that you can find many of these small appliance parts. I finally stopped shopping there for good after he sold me a replacement part for my electric razor knowing (but not telling me) that it required special tools to install it. When I went back, he told me I couldn't install it myself, but he wouldn't let me return the part. When I asked him why he didn't tell me when I first bought the part that I probably wouldn't be able to install it, he said it was because I didn't ask--which was true but he knew when he sold it to me that the part wasn't going to work for me. I then had no choice but to pay him to install the part. I would have been happy to do that to begin with if he had told me up front that that was probably going to be necessary. As it is, I will never go back there again, and thanks to internet shopping, I don't have to. I'll gladly pay shipping rather than give this guy another dime. He's a real piece of work.
Abrasive. This shopkeeper did nothing to make me want to return. He was abrasive and argumentative. His dirty and cluttered shop was filled with signs with hostile messages indicating his lack of responsibility for anything. Notably, he did not offer me a receipt for my inexpensive item, which seemed an error in the untrustworthy atmosphere he created. To top it off, my part didn't fit. I'm not going back for a refund though. Action Small Appliances is not the best Seattle has to offer.
caller beware. Wow - this was possibly the nastiest service I have ever recieved. I don't normally like to review and spread unfriendly critiques of anyone but I want to spare anyone I am able to making the same mistake by dialing that number to be verbally abused. As the other reviewers indicate, the person who works there is not happy and YOU are the reason (at least that is how he makes you feel). Perhaps word can be sent to the police for future prospects of people going postal as this guy would probably be in that category. I just was trying to get him the information he asked for and he was so nasty I opted out of his "graces" and told him to have a good day - which I hope he does so noone else has that happen to them. Call at your own risk and may your skin be thicker than mine!!!
Worst Customer Service. Rude and abrupt counter service from the beginning. I explained I had a deadline. Not only did they not meet the deadline of when the item was supposed to be repaired, but when I called to find out why there was a delay, they had closed for a week.
Great little Locally owned Shop. Where the owner can tell you all about the quality of the appliance. Yeah, you may pay a little more, but one can shop here in good conscience.
