OK Food, Horrible service. The food at this restaurant was average. The service was horrible. Basically we sat at our table waiting for our check for about 20 minutes while our waiter searched for a bottle of wine for someone else. The food was actually decent, very basic but overall good. It seems that they try to be something they are not = a high class restaurant. The prices are too high for the food and experience. I would not recommend this place. We ended up at a place called "Amber" afterward that seemed a lot better. The bald, old waiter was horrible.

Nothing great but not too bad. We went to eat dinner here very late on a Saturday night around 10:30. We were glad they were still serving dinner. Atmosphere is great, kind-a loud but definitely nice, San Francisco style. Food is okay but expensive for quality. I would go back for drinks...

With all of these bad reviews how does this place still rate a 9.2?. I've been here. The food is acceptable, but nothing great and it definately overpriced. Typical Belltown. What I would normally rate this place as "average" I'll give it a "not recommended" to hopefuly bring down the rating so more city search users are not fooled into going to this place.

terrible and rude!. I've always liked queen city, it's cozy and the bartenders are usually so friendly. My friends and I decided to go there and grab a few cocktails, maybe a little snack. The bartender said it was okay for us to sit at a table opposed to the bar because their weren't 4 bar stools. Immediately a server came and asked if we were having dinner. We said no and that the barternder said it was okay, the server then said, "well I guess it will have to be okay then". So rude, he was clearly mad about it and didn't try to hide it. Then a diff. server came to take our friends drink order and she spoke to her like she was stupid for not noticing that their was more than one chardonnay on the menu and gave her attitude instead of just suggesting or listing off the wines to her like a good server would do. To top it off my $8 bloody mary, that was by no means fancy, had a hair in it! We didn't even finish our over priced drinks and left bc we felt so unwelcome and couldn't believe that they were so rude. Did I mention that every other table besides two were open?! We even overheard the bartender apologizing to the servers for letting us sit at the table. The restaurant was empty! All the servers were just standing around! Why was it necessary for them to be so rude! Just because we weren't having a three course meal? Considering no one else was there, wouldn't our business have been better then nothing? And of course when it was tip time our server was more than lovely and chipper; as was the first server who was rude to us. It's too bad. I'll never go back there or recommend it.

Please...stay away.. The worst seafood I have had in a VERY long time.

I hate to be the odd man out here (because apparently other diners have really enjoyed their experience at the Queen City Grill), but I was literally emberrased at the service, atmosphere, and quality of food.

I was introducing a family member to Seattle for the first time, and what better place for a meal than a seemingly eleagant and well-run downtown restaurant? I couldn't have been more wrong.

It took the waiter fifteen minutes to acknowledge our presence. The French bread was stale. The razor clams had the consistency of rubber...and they were cold. The vegatables were overcooked.

Maybe we just strolled in on a bad night. Maybe...but for what they charged us for less than mediocre food, it was an experience that I won't soon forget.

Good steak. We had a good steak at QCG...... The church style tables are still cranking. Service was good and the atmosphere was a little loud but fun. Overall, it still is a favored place for us.

It still stands tall. QCG has been around forever and it is great. The wine list gets better and better and the wine guy, Trevor, should be at Canlis. He knows more about wine than any sommelier I have ever come across and he seems to know what you like before you do! The food is always great with good old favorites and some phenomenal specials. Best of all they are NON SMOKING during dinner hours now! The serivce is unpretentious and even though it gets crowded it is always fun.

Over-rated. The maître d' went on and on that loyal customers start lining up at 4 o'clock for the famous "pepper corn steak." I ordered it because it came so highly recommended. It was one of the worst steaks I've ever had. The food overall was very unimpressive. My friend ordered the burger it was dry, tough and had no flavor. This restaurant should only be recommend for the 40+ bar scene and nothing else.
