Cascadia

Fine dining. No rules.

  • Modern American, Northwest
  • Private Dining and Catering
  • Happy Hour 5 - 7pm, Mon - Sat

Hungry? Test Chef Sear's creativity with a tasting menu, take advantage of our $35 three-course set menu, or go à la carte with something wild, simply grilled, or on the half shell and raw. Thirsty? Question our sommeliers about our 10,000+ bottle wine list or stick with cocktails including our Alpine Martini. Not sure what you want? A table with a view in our Bar & Lounge and a plateful of Cascadia Miniburgers is a great place to start. Whatever you decide, Cascadia is open and comfortable, grand yet intimate, and thoroughly Northwest minus the clichés.

With Cascadia, enjoy a private dinner for out-of-town clients, a Happy Hour celebration after work, a romantic dinner for two one evening, a catered lunch some perfect afternoon plus wine dinners, market tours, cooking classes and more.

Cascadia food. Cascadia drink. Cascadia service, style and more. All you have to do is ask.

Editorial Review for Cascadia – by Hannah Levin

The Scene
With its warmly glowing bar and tranquil waterfall window separating the kitchen and dining room, this Belltown beauty exudes opulence, but with a refreshing absence of upscale pretension. Service is gregarious, yet unobtrusive, making it a proposal-worthy date spot or an ideal choice for high-end celebrations.

The Food
The moniker refers to Chef Kerry Sear's focus on the lush area between the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Ocean: All ingredients are drawn exclusively from this region. Tasting or prix-fixe menus are the best route for harnessing the most of the kitchen's creative output. The seven-course vegetarian option features successes such as the silky tofu "scallops" and crisp wontons with eggplant "caviar," while the three-course prix-fixe menu wins with robust grilled venison sausage and the cooling, sweet finish of hand-churned ice cream.

This restaurant had a lot of hype and we were excited to go. We were seated promptly and the service was fine, but unfortunately one of the meals was cold. The waiter took back the meal, brought a fresh hot one and comped the meal. Everything else was lovely

Pros: Good Food and service

Cons: one of the meal was cold

Hello- I've eaten in the bar here several times- the food is good but the whole set up is weird-A couple of Fridays ago we were stopped as we entered- I've never been to a place where you are stopped from going into the bar and had to sign in on a wait list!- the girl at the front desk was very stiff and seemed very inexperienced and made no effort to ease the situation verbally (perhaps she just has had enough of the bad set up)...then there is the fact the dinning room is often empty but you can't sit there unless you are ordering dinner... Cascadia has struggled over the years to find a niche, the food has always been interesting and evolving so it is not the chef or food- I'd say a bigger bar and investing in the front of the house staff would be a good investment! By the way.... After waiting ten minutes we left and went to Tavolta around the corner and were welcomed right away.
