Whether you're seated at an intimate bistro table along the glittering balcony, or sinking into the black velvet of a stage-hugging banquette, there's not a bad seat in the house. Service is cordial, but sparse once the music starts. Candlelight dining and excellent acoustics make this club the de facto standard for live jazz in the city.

Great place for jazz lovers. Dinner and drinks were fine, but nothing special. The ambiance is fantastic!

As soon as you walk down the stairs, those marvelous hosts are there to greet and make you feel welcome and and at home. We normally sit at the bar but the appetizers are to die for! We have yet to come to Jazz Alley for dinner and are eagerly anticipating seeing The Manhattan Transfer there next weekend! I would highly recommend this classy club to any and all!!
Pros: Great atmosphere and great jazz and world music
Cons: No dance floor
