!Maria RoX!. I met Maria last year during her last week at Phase 3! and thank goodness I did because I followed her next door to Gary Manuel without question.

She did such a fantastic job of not only calming down my hair but also calming my mind that I knew it was meant to be.

So let's talk about the person: She's witty, a painter, artistic, creative, and real. There is never a moment of silence when we're together. I guess she can be conservative if she want's to be but that's what I enjoy about her that she's not and we can have conversations that make my day.

On the hair tip: I have a crazy Brazilian afro (actually long thick curly coarse hair) that drives me crazy most of the time. Over the last year Maria has helped me learn a thing or two about it including: styling changes, product suggestions that have really worked, and has gotten me back on the color wagon.

Being in Nursing School for the last 4 years I've erred on the side of conservative but Maria has really helped me bring ideas from pictures or descriptions to life in a personalized way that suits me taking into consideration my concerns. She tells me when things can, will, won't, or shouldn't work for me and then creates a version that does.

Speaking of color I just recently added it to my hair with fantastic peekaboo highlights which I LOVE!!! I had really been shying away from the idea but with encouragement I took the plunge and should of been doing it a long time ago.

So if you're looking for someone who is skilled, interesting, and willing to listen to your needs please make a trip to see her. She's well worth it and I "heart" her very much.

Can't wait to see Ashley again. Finally! I've found someone who can do EXACTLY what I want with my hard-to-manage hair! Ashley is awesome! (She also does my husband's hair, and he always looks great.) The prices are a little more than your average "Cuts-R-Us" salon, but it's well worth it.

I first met Ashley when Gary Manuel's was doing a charity cut event, and Ashley was spending a day (without pay) cutting hair for Puget Sound Alliance. I figured it was for charity, so I wasn't going for a great haircut. My hair looked way better than it ever did when I walked out.

I've been back to see Ashley a couple of times, and I always leave feeling beautiful! Ashley is a true Treasure!

Parker does another great job!. Parker has been my stylist at Gary Manuel since I first visited the salon a year ago. She always does a beautiful job on my hair. She's friendly and outgoing and makes me feel really special.

On a previous visit we had discussed doing a Keritan treatment on my thick, wavy, and often frizzy hair. Last week I took the plunge and had Parker do it for me. The results were just as she described. I Love, Love, Love it!!!!!! I finally have hair that I can easily manage and that looks great. The Keritan treatment has made such a difference. I wish I had taken your advice sooner.

Tsofia Rocks. Tsofia has been my stylist for nearly a year and she never disappoints. She always listens intently, offers a brilliant idea for how to change my look, and then delivers.

Her attention to detail and amazing technical skills make her one of the best stylists in town. Worth every penny.

Go see Karlie now!. I went in to get a trim after having grown my hair out from a buzz cut and it was quite ugly and shaggy. Karlie did an excellent job cleaning it up for me and leaving me with enough length to grow it out. I am very pleased with my haircut and have gotten numerous glowing compliments. I will be telling all of my guy friends not to be scared of going to a salon, as I know that the typical male likes to go the cheap and dirty route. Spending a little extra money is totally worth it and I will be back to see Karlie next time. She is an asset to this salon and an absolute gem.

Great Salon - ask for Karlie. I moved to the Seattle area a few years back, and had real trouble finding a stylist who understood my hair and listened to what I wanted. My search ended at Gary Manuel when I found Karlie, one of the best hair stylists I've ever been to! She's a great blend of "cutting edge" and traditional, and creates a look that's not only modern, but appropriate for your age/lifestyle.

Pure talent!

karlie is a genius!. i've seen karlie for quite awhile, she is the best! i change my hair color and length all the time, i will go from almost black to blonde, and never once had my hair turn out funky, it always looks awesome! and to top it off the girl is hilarious, i will never seen another stylist----

Always a good experience. I have really short hair and for a girl, a brilliant stylist is a must. Audrey has done my hair from day 1 and I haven't had a cut or color I am not happy with. Her consultations are brilliant - knows what will work with my face shape and skin tone. Happy to just sit in the chair and let her do her own thing too. Hairdressers are artists and their best work comes from their vision for you.

Stephen Pace - A master for hair cuts. Stephen has been cutting my hair for over ten years. He is a master! I love the way I look when I leave the salon and - it's always a treat to visit with him while he cuts my hair. This is a great salon!

Stephen Pace - Best Cut and Color. I have been going to Stephen for several years now and continue to see him even though it now means I have to travel from Hawaii. He is so worth it! Attention Brunettes: no matter what level of highlights you want it will NEVER EVER turn out brassy. Stephen is an expert at helping you find the perfect color that matches your skin tone and looks natural. On top of that he gives fantastic cuts and style so there is no need to see two different stylists. The salon staff is also very friendly and attentive.
