This is the real deal

I feel really at home there.

This is a humble little restaurant and you will not be sorry.

I would take the pho there over any other place on Broadway

great vietnamese food. The Broadway Cafe is a must visit. I think of it more as visiting a relative than as a restaurant experience. Nicole, the owner, is a character. Engage her in conversation, find out what the specials are. She might have something that doesn't appear on the menu. While some of her Japanese dishes are very good, I recommend the Vietnamese dishes. Her fresh spring rolls, pho, sandwiches (banh Mi), and her chicken curry are all excellent.

My posse's in Broadway Cafe. I love this place, and go there almost every weekend. The owners are utterly charming and accomodating, and prepare unfailingly fabulous food to order. I hope their Buddhist Lemongrass Tofu Special never leaves the menu!
