Amazing Fried Rice!. My girlfriend and I are obsessed with this place. We go at least every other week. They have the best crispy crab wontons (P-3) that I have ever had. The GF always gets pho (P-5) and raves, and I always have the Ballet Fried Rice (P-63) and it is some of the best fried rice I have ever had. This is definitely one of my favourite places to dine, and it's fairly inexpensive as well (around $20-25 for that, without beer/sake.)

The wait staff is very friendly and attentive too!

The pho has never failed me. The pho has never failed me, their vermicelli is amazing, too. The service is great, as well. Quick table service. They're not expensive, I've never had to wait too long, so they get 5 stars.

Real nice place. The people are real nice and service if perfect. I like the food my wife was not really sold but next time we go we will try something else.

We hope they do well and keep being a good asset to the neighborhood.

A treasure on Capitol Hill. The most amazing curry I've ever had! You can't get anymore authentic than this! People were genuinely nice, service was quick and attentive, and the food, well if the curry was that delicious then I can't wait to try everything else! This restaurant will definitely be a highly recommended dining experience in my book.

There are better places to eat.. I ate their vermicelli bowl with mock chicken. The mock chicken was somehow bland and salty at the same time. It also looked dark and unappetizing. The noodles and vegetables were okay. The sauce was boring and served cold, which made the hot dish tepid. Also, I did not realize they were charging extra for choosing the mock chicken instead of the tofu. I would much rather eat at In the Bowl, which has many options and a good texturized soy protein chicken

Great QUALITY food, Good QUALITY people!!. Why go anywhere else when all you need is a quick BALLET fix'n..and when I say quick, I mean QUICK! Service and staff couldn't be anymore friendly and attentative but what will definitely bring me back is the spectacular tasting fresh delicious food! You can expect my lifetime business here because this is definitely one place thats left on the hill where you can't go wrong.

Attentive waitstaff, QUICK service for weekday lunch. Ate lunch on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the tofu curry with vegetables. I asked for 1-star spiciness. The vegetables were cooked to perfection (not too soft, not too crunchy) but, overall, the meal tasted bland. There was nothing wrong with it--it just wasn't terrific.

It was neither the bargain that I expected nor all that pricey: $12.50 (excl. tax & tip) for curry tofu and a domestic beer.

Fantastic Everything!. Absolutely CRAZY about this place. After hearing so many praises and "you have to try ballet" I decided to make a quick stop in for lunch. Not only was the service quick, attentive, and friendly but the the food was also tasteful and very very fulfilling. One thing was for sure, there was not one inch of blandness in my dishes, you definitely have to come for their delicious curry, and homemade pho (vegetarian or beef). I ejoyed it so much I came back for dinner that same day, with some friends! One things for sure this is one place I wont stop dining at, not even for the ave

Meh.. While I've walked by Ballet many times before, the dingy storefront kept me from ever walking in. After seeing the shining reviews on Citysearch, my boyfriend and I thought that we'd give it a try. On a positive note, the inside is actually a lot nicer than the outside would suggest. The food, however, is not. My spring roll was limp but oh kay. Both my boyfriend's shrimp fried rice and my cashew chicken stirfry were painfully bland. I slowly chopsticked food in my mouth and intermittently peeked at the dying fish in the fish tank get beat around by the other fish. When the bill came, we felt pretty screwed. Any asian restaurant on University Ave costs the same but tastes much better.

Basically perfect. Ballet is perhaps the greatest restaurant in Seattle on a quality to dollar ratio. Great for vegetarians and carnivours alike, and every item tried by anyone I know has not been anything less than spectacular. The service is quick, attentive, and friendly. The prices are almost jaw-droppingly low.
