Honey wine and shareable entrees make for an inexpensive dining experience at this traditional Ethiopian restaurant located in the Central District.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- The traditional way to eat Ethiopian food is with the fingers from a common plate, signifying the bonds of loyalty and friendship.
Poor Customer Service

I thought that a gift certificate from Mesob restaurant would be a good gift for my Seattle friends. I sent my check with the request. I received no response; however my check was cashed. After two months of phone calls, e-mails and letters with no results, I asked for outside assistance in getting a refund, and I had a refund check within a couple of weeks. I don't know how the food or service is at this restaurant, and I don't intend to find out.
- Pros: none
- Cons: no service to customers

This place is off the chart fantastic. I have been to many Ethiopian restaurants and this one tops them all. I love it and will continue to go as much as possible.
- Pros: Food, Bar, Service, Everything
- Cons: Parking
Great Ethiopian Food!

There are plenty of Ethiopian restaurants in this part of town, but I think Mesob is the best. Try the veggie combo - it is a great way to try lots of items. Also ask to be seated in the back of the restaurant - it is much more welcoming and colorful.
They are very friendly and the prices are affordable.
- Pros: Easy Parking, Good Food, Low Cost
