Gyros, greek salads and hummus--oh my! The sandwich and entree combos are the best value at this casual and centrally located Cap Hill restaurant.
Gone downhill, where is my Farmer's Dish. This used to be a reliable outpost of the late, lamented Mediterranean Kitchen on Roy. They made a Farmers Dish of fabulous, garlicky chicken wings that was every bit as good as the flagship, but less expensive. The chicken wings are gone (why?). The chicken sharma, which used to be made of whole, grilled-to-order thighs are now made of shredded bits of dry uninteresting meat. The garlic sauce is gone (or at least so tasteless it might as well be). The rice is uninteresting. How can we say "gone downhill" a thousand times!
Awesome. Their Chicken Shawarma is fantastic. If you order their dinner plate, you also get their incredible hummus with pita bread and soup. Always ask for their lentil soup!
Good Gyros, everything else below avearage. I just moved to Seattle and accidentally stumbled into the place, they were busy at lunch, no place to sit and few tables available had dirty plates. The place did not look clean especially the cooks. I requested my dish to be served on lettuce instead of rice, I did not get it that way. Pricey for a fast food place, the Gyros were good but everything else was very unmemorable.
Great food. Delicious greek food. I swear by the gyro place. I have been coming here for years, and it is a fun, casual place to go for a bite to eat.
Editorial Review. Savor a taste of the Mediterranean at this quick and easy Capitol Hill eatery.
