Kincora Pub518 E Pine St, Seattle, WA | Directions 98122
47.615226 -122.324783this place is good. they have a dj here often and a good beer selection---go here if you want to meet locals in capitol hill...i like the gritty vibe here. show off your tatoos to others here
This comfortable Capital Hill fixture is a successful mix of everyday pub-goers and weekend revelers..
The Scene
Though the beer selection tilts decidedly towards the British Isles, hip DJ nights insure a more happening evening than your standard pub scene. The dingy, weathered space might seem an odd fit for a drinking establishment; however, there is enough room for a well-used pool table, and the occasional live performance.
The Draw
The Kincora is outfitted with couches, board games and pinball, yet remains plenty inclusive and homey. The addition of liquor makes it even more inviting. Glamour will likely remain in short supply, but the place endures as a friendly, if increasingly fun, spot for a drink. DJ nights ranging from soul to heavy metal are crucial components.
Good times, good music.. I've been in a few times, and there's always a mix of loyal locals and new drinkers. Rock n' roll atomosphere is great, prices are reasonable, and music is great. Especially on Fridays a mix of rock, 80's wave, brit-pop,etc. But my favorite is London Loves, the 3rd thursday of every month; nothing but great British pop and rock hits. Since the edition of hard liquor, more and more girls are hanging out +++. Only drawback is the toilets.?
