In Short – Whether you're shopping for a new winter coat, an A-line '60s dress or simply a snazzy pair of heels, you'll have fun looking through this place. Everyone comes here, from bargain-shopping newlyweds to college kids looking for unique finds for school. Look through the home appliance section for marked-down Tupperware and price cuts on antique silverware. When Halloween comes around, browse through their wide selection of masks, costumes and funky accessories. – – – Photo by Chris Daniel
Editor's Tips
- The Extras:
- Kids growing up so fast you just can't keep the clothes on 'em? The large children's section assures discount outfits with prices so low you won't mind if they don't fit anymore in a few months.
- Know Before You Go:
- Instead of tossing those old sweaters into the garbage, bring them on down to the store which is always accepting donations.
ridiculous prices

In the midst of the worst economic downturn most of us can remember, all Puget Sound area Value Villages have raised their prices drastically. Used, soiled t-shirts for $6.99? Used, torn jackets for $34.99?
What are they thinking??? My thrift shopping is now done at other stores. Shame on Value Village.
- Pros: friendly staff
- Cons: prices
Why Buy New?

I shop here for my 7 year old daughter and she gets more compliments than any other child I know. At each store we can always find cute summer dresses for her and work out shirts for me. I have a hard time paying full price for anything anymore. Thanks Value Village!
