Terrible service. Terrible attitude.
I've given this place two tries since they are right in my neighborhood. The first time they rushed me out the door at the end of my Shellac manicure because they wanted to close and my nails were still tacky for a while. The Shellac is supposed to last 2 weeks and was very very badly chipped after 8 days.
Today I went back and let them know at the start of my service that I had a limited amount of time (which was over an hour) for my manicure. They said that would be enough time to do the Shellac, but when the hour was up they insisted that I still had to stay under the light longer. I had to get back to work and so they said "just be careful!" as I walked out the door. Now, 3 hours later, my nails are still beyond tacky wet, and look absolutely terrible. I did some reading on the product the used (OPI Axxium) and the instructions say that it requires a top coat - a step that they absolutely didn't complete.
I went back to let them know and the owner was argumentative and dismissive. She quickly started telling all of her other customers about what I had done "wrong".
I will never go back to this place - every other cheap nail salon on the hill is better than this!
Friendly, talented nail salon.
I've been going to get my nails done every two weeks consistantly for over a year or or so at La Nails on Pike.
I only wandered in one day, because it was so close to my apartment, but have remained loyal ever since. Each one of the technicians is extremely friendly and do beautiful work.
My nails are always very natural looking and hold up for two weeks well (until they grow out, of course). They can do it all!
Highly recommended!!!
