Outstanding service - took my '98 BMW 540i in for a comprehensive claim -- Metro worked with my insurance company for additional costs, and even gave me a ride to a nearby location after I dropped off my car. They a took a few days longer than expected but it was because they waited to get a part in they needed to do the job correctly. The paint matching was second to none. If your priority is the end result - this shop is the place to go in Seattle. If you care about getting the car out of the shop as soon as possible - take it somewhere that will cut corners...

Pros: the end result was outstanding - they worked with me & addressed my concerns

Cons: took a little longer than expected

After being rear ended I took my Mercedes to Metro Auto Rebuild for the repair. They are a "Mercedes Certified" body shop so I had certain expectations concerning the service that I would receive. When I received the estimate it stated that the repair was estimated to take 15 days. I booked to repair and waited to hear that the parts were in and that they were ready to go. 10 days after giving them the car I received a call to let me know all the parts were in. What????? Based on my math skills my 15 day repair should now become a 25 day repair. If only it were that easy! It went on (and on, and on...) to a 65 day repair. On the day I was finally to pick up my car I was told by Metro that the last step was sending it to Phil Smart for final sign off. Well, when I picked it up the "Check Engine" light was on and my blinker did not work. Did it go to Phil Smart? I can't imagine that Phil Smart would of let it out of their shop with these issues. All in all, the repair was done well. The huge problem for me was the lack of communication with me, the client, and total disregard to my situation.
