Managment change has turned this place around. A friend and I wanted to try this place and went with some hesitation after reading reviews here and on Yelp. We found the experience to be extremely positive! I'm almost certain that we were greeted by the gentleman that posted below - Rashed - when we visited on a Thursday night. We had also read that the restaurant was under new management so we were curious to see how things were.

I'm happy to say that the service was friendly and prompt, the food was delicious and that bartender pours a stiff drink! We had no idea that karaoke was on Thursday nights, and to be honest it was hard picturing just how it would work in this typical restaurant layout, but an hour later the host was set up and people started pouring in. Where did they all come from? This place was PACKED for karaoke and now we know why. The host is excellent and the library is fantastic...much to our surprise, we closed the place down and we'll be back. Fantastic experience....

great food at a reasonable price. Was driving around the area and decided to stop in with my wife for lunch. We ordered the crab bisque soup along with the bacon wrapped scallops. We were in heaven. Not only was the seafood good, but the mashed potatoes were delicious. They put carmalized onions and crumbled blue cheese on top, it was definitely unique, but nonetheless fantastic. Further, the prices were reasonable especially for the quality you get. I know where I am going to eat the next time I am in the neighborhood.

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!. One of the WORST dining experiences I've EVER had. The steamed clams we had as appetizers were good, our meals were mediocore. The halibut and chips was definitely not worth $12. However, the food was not nearly as disappointing as the service. Our server, I believe his name was William, seemed at first nice and enthusiastic. So friendly when seating us and so proficcient at spouting off the day's specials that we thought he was perhaps the manager. However, once we ordered our meals--both being affordable (under $13 each), none of the specials he spent 5 minutes telling us about--his attitude completely changed to being extremely HOSTILE and AGGRAVATED. From that point on he treated us more like an inconvenience than customers. Everything he brought to our table was thrown down carelessly, he didn't respond to any of our "pleases" and "thank yous", never once checked on us to see if we needed anything else, didn't ask how our food was until he had to come clear our table because we were done eating, and didn't once make eye contact with us. It became obvious that the only people getting good service were the one's spending more money as we could hear the 2 tables next to us ordering the specials of the day. He literally gave verbal praise on their choices- "Nice choice! It's our best!" While we had to wait 5 minutes just to get our check. The funny thing is, when we were looking at the menu and deciding, we realized we didn't want anything fancy but WERE planning on returning in the future. That's a big negative now. I can honestly say it was the most awkward, unpleasant, and completely hostile service I've ever received at a restaurant. MAYBE YOU SHOULD TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS NICER. YOU SHARE A PARKING LOT WITH JIFFY LUBE, HOW FANCY AND UPSCALE DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU ARE?

Don't waste your money. Way overpriced for the nasty food. Our food was over-fried, our beers were flat, and we both later had stomach aches. Our bill was almost $50 for two people (with only 2 beers). We were so disappointed as we were looking forward to trying it.

Trash in a shell. Maybe the usual chef had been in a car accident that night we went, but everything at SCC failed miserably. The appetizer platter was a uniform deep fried orange with all the flavors being the exact same. The crab cake was mush. The entrees were stale, butterflavored and overpriced. Even my heffeweisen was wrong.

Do not waste your money.

Fast-food Quality at High Prices. This is owned by Skippers. The quality is reminiscent of 70's seafood; bad and fried. Only at CitySearch can a bad restaurant get a good average.

Love that Salmon pasta!. Copper river salmon was terrific sad that it's only once a year. Salmon pasta is excellent with great portion size. The chowder is also exceptional. Great job by the staff they really took care of us.

Seattle Crab Co.. Decent food at okay prices. The crab bisque is outstanding and their best dish in my opinion. Blackened cod is also tasty, keep and eye out for the specials. The wacky crab shell with faces on them all over the walls were a little creepy, but they have since taken some of them down, so I no longer feel like I am being watched all the time. Decor is funky and entertaining.
