Editorial Review for Roxbury Lanes – by Dan Fazio
The Experience
Roxbury will feel different depending on what time and day you show up. Weeknights, from 6pm to 9:30pm, the alley is filled with league players of all varieties. In addition to men's, women's and mixed leagues, there's a Pokemon league, a bicycle league (where participants--usually child and parent--receive a bicycle in the last week) and even a Pride night.
The Facts
Go early, if you want a family-oriented bowling experience. Later, if you want to kick it with 20-something hipsters.

Hey, I bowl there every week and my kids have never had any problemsin the restooms, or anywhere else in the building. Must have ben an isolated incident. The price is right and the food is good, staff very friendly and helpful.

I go to this bowling alley alot with my kids. well last saturday, my eight year old was in the bathroom, and some drink fromt he bar asked my son who was 8 years old did he want some quaters. while they were going to the bathroom. It seems a little fishy to me. And when I confronted the guy in the bar he was shocked to see that my son had came and told me . I just wanted the parents out there to beware of what is going on in public restrooms. The staff is very friendly just watch out the for slezzy trailer park trash in the bar.
Pros: nice staff. affordable
Cons: drunks that use the same restroom as everyone else.
